(6)TANK vs Red Nose(5) Game 1
With momentum shifting back and forth, Tank came out on top to grab a 1-0 series lead. Trailing by only one goal and with half a period remaining, B.Deslauriers used his blistering slap shots to not only even the score but to also put his club in front leaving just over a minute remaining in the game. Red Nose didn’t have the start they hoped for but were able to overcome a two goal deficit with three straight markers before dropping the contest in the end.
(5)Red Nose vs TANK(0) Game 2
Determination was all it took for Red Nose as they responded with a convincing win to even up the series. After grabbing a 1-0 first period lead, P.Koutsogiannopoulos took over with two big second period goals which were later followed with a pair of third period tallies from L-P Simard. After giving up five goals in game one, J-P Gagnon had a bounce back performance earning a well deserved shutout.
(2)TANK vs Red Nose(1) Game 3
An early goal from P.Koutsogiannopoulos wasn’t good enough for the Red Nose as Tank responded with back to back tallies to claim the F division championship. It took all but 60 seconds for M.Gagnon to tie the game up at one goal a piece. If that tally wasn’t big enough, the very same M.Gagnon struck for a second time putting Tank in the driver’s seat with just half a period remaining. With still plenty of time for a response, the Red Nose offence wasn’t able to penetrate the solid net minding of A.Mancini. Most of the Tank players recently won the E Thursday division with Renceur and barely a week later, they managed to capture a second title.
