(1)Brewers vs Bijoux Jr(7)
Despite allowing a late goal, BijouxJr did everything right to open up their season. A.Tremblay cashed in early and added a second period goal while A.Sousa struck twice as well to finish his night with three points. L.Dias was surely thinking of earning a shutout up until E.Pellerin spoiled the moment with less than three minutes remaining in the game.
(6)Punishers vs Buckshots(8)
The Punishers pushed hard towards the end but fell short as the Buckshots held on to a nail biter. The Buckshots entered the final frame with a 6-2 lead and got back to back goals from M.Mavroudis before M.Destounis capped it off in a yawning cage. As for the Punishers, three different players paired twice each that included efforts from K.Tsoukalas, E.Blanchette and C.Stamadianos.
(1)Maniaks vs Ducks(8)
A.Carvajal took the bull by the horns as a major reason why the Ducks generated so many goals. After netting two first period tallies, A.Carvajal posted up a total of four goals and an assist. The Maniaks got on the board only once in the second period where A.Haddad got the better of V.Trevi.
(1)Steelers vs Tyrants(5)
Wasting no time whatsoever, the Tyrants put the Steelers in an early bind. J.Lamoureu-Remo helped set up two early goals and the Tyrants got efforts from five different players to open up their season on the right foot. The Steelers did win the second frame with a lone power play tally from C.Retsinas as the only player to have figured out G.Platanitis.
(3)Fat Cats vs Fat Roy(9)
It may be early in the season but Fat Roy sent a quick message that they will be a front runner by the playoffs. J.Velonosi had an early impact accumulating four points in the first half of the game and P.Elizardo continued where he left up by posting three goals for a hat trick. The Fat Cats did get a pair of goals from T.Hatzithomas and will look to adjust quickly after losing by a landslide.
(3)Viking du Nord vs Nelmar(9)
Le Viking du Nord will need bodies if they hope to avoid losses such as this one. With only two changes in their line up, R.Ricard and his crew struggled all game long even though the captain was able to bury a pair of goals. Nelmar got plenty of offence from both their captain D.Hill and S.Pilon as each player notched hat tricks.
(3)MoneyShot vs ITT/Audi(2) S.O
Despite dropping a 2-0 lead, the Money Shot captured the extra point in the end. R.Kilgour, captain of the MoneyShot and James Tutino tallied in the first period before A.Stamiris netted back to back goals by the second period to even the score. With the third period and overtime solving nothing, a shootout was required where T.Olivieri was the lone successful player to score and lead the MoneyShot to a close victory.
(1)Chaos vs Hellfish(9)
The Hellfish were simply too strong on this night as they rout Chaos 9-1.Out of their nine goals scored, four players found the back of the net on two occasions. N.Fotakis, B.Rubino, J.Rodrigues and F.Benhamidi all scored two goals each while P.Maroulis notched the other tally. Chaos got their only goal from M.Delissandro as the only player to beat F.Vigliotti.

The player of the night goes out to Adrian Carvajal of the Ducks. His four goals and one assist was more than plenty to lead his team to an 8-1 win over the Maniaks.
