With six minutes remaining in the contest, the Smooth Sailors found a way to get the better of the United Arms. N.Cordileone snapped the dreaded 1-1 tie and J.Palmitano added insurance just a minute later before M.Yeramain reduced the gap by only one. Each net minder held their clubs in it, but it was F.Vigliotti earning the win over his counter part R.Kenadjian.

(4)Stealth Assassins vs Smooth Sailors(5) O.T
J.Morina struck late to even the score for the Smooth Sailors before N.Cordileone won the game just four minutes shy of the sudden death period. The Stealth Assassins had the better start to the match building a 3-2 first period lead getting a pair of goals from N.Harvey. After a scoreless second frame, the Smooth Sailors finished off stronger winning the third period 2-1 before capping it off in overtime.
(3)Slayers vs Legacy(2) O.T
Just shy of a shootout, P.Musto ended the night in overtime giving the Slayers a close 3-2 win and a perfect 3-0 record. It’s still very early in the season but many teams will be gunning for the Slayers as they’ve shown that they are a front running team. Despite going scoreless after two frames, Legacy had a solid third period getting two goals from J.Rochon and S.Govas before dropping the game in overtime.
(3)Myrmidons vs PokerTree(8)
If the Myrmidons can produce another G.Berberyan, they may have a chance to get some positive results. In the last two games alone the veteran forward scored all of his clubs seven goals giving some sort of life to the struggling Myrmidons. On the other hand, PokerTree depended on an overall team effort and got balanced production that saw only P.Jacques score twice out of their eight goals.
(1)Bramabulls vs The Animals(2)
It wasn’t an easy result but the Animals are glad to end their 0-2 start to the season. Although it was the Bramabulls striking first with a tally from N.Petosa, the Animals slowly took over getting second and third period goals to take the contest. D.Deluca evened the score and J.Cuscuna put his club in front for the first time by the mid way point of the third period. After letting a first period marker by him, J.Camastra went perfect the rest of the way to earn the win.
(2)Smackdaddys vs Spartans(3)
Each side traded goals in both the first two periods up until a late marker from M.Arkalis made the difference in the match. F.Remon made an immediate impact for the Smackdaddys posting up both goals while B.Makris and G.Tsolis did the scoring for the Spartans up until a late brilliant effort from M.Arkalis. C.Stavriadis had to be really good in nets earning the victory while his counter part S.Morante gave an excellent chance for the Smackdaddys to capture the win as well.
(7)Concept vs United Arms(1)
Quietly under the radar, Concept will be turning heads as they continue their journey. The United Arms held their opponents to only one goal for almost two full periods before letting up by the third. A.Moffa, captain of Concept had a multi goal game and his brother M.Moffa was nearly perfect in nets allowing only K.Kavan to beat him.

With plenty of candidates for a player of the night, the honour will go out to Nicolai Cordileone of the Smooth Sailors. Already with an assist, Nicolai Cordileone netted the most important goal for his club giving the Smooth Sailors a 5-4 overtime win over the Stealth Assassins.
