(5)Buckshots vs Table 51(4)
The Buckshots had to sweat out a 5-2 third period lead as they just got by Table 51. Up by three along with a pair of power plays, the Buckshots gave up two short handed goals in the span of two minutes to put Table 51 back into the game. Fortunately enough, they protected the last five minutes to escape with the win. E.Mavroudis got credited the winner while P-O Lagace and D.Lacroix were Table 51’s best player with two goals each.
(4)Ducks vs Steelers(6)
The Steelers worked their power play in all three periods and add a short handed tally to defeat the Ducks on Tuesday night. S.Karagioules powered a the short handed tally and added an early third period power play goal while his teammate G.Asprakis netted a pair of second period goals to put the Steelers in a good position heading into the final frame. The Ducks did have a better finish by scoring two late markers from N.Giannone that included his captain N.Hairabedian’s fourth point of the night.
(3)Primetime vs ITT/Audi(6)
ITT/Audi got the better of Primetime by winning all three frames 2-1.While five different players found the back of the net, E.Girouard was responsible for making four goals happen. S.Robineault converted twice, C.Doulis netted the winner late in the second period and J.Rabchuk was Primetimes best player finishing with two goals.
(6)Chaos vs Maniaks(4)
Saving his best for last, J.Quevillon riffled a pair of third period markers to help lift Chaos over the Maniaks. S.Burrell was a catalyst for Chaos by getting his club on the board first while later adding three helpers to finish with four points. As for the Maniaks, A El-Haddad had a multi goal game and G.Mitri had the most points scoring once while adding two helpers.

Wednesday September 24
(5)Tyrants vs Storm(3)
The Tyrants used their aggressive fore-check causing the Storm to make quick in accurate decisions. Using their role players for good defensive hockey, the Tyrants had some key elements in the goal scoring department that saw A.St-Laurent bag four goals, M.Turgeon accumulate four helpers while M.Menassa helped set up three markers. As for the Storm, A.Zarzour is still showing he’s got some scoring in him as the veteran notched two tallies and an assist.
(5)Viking Du Nord vs TANK(8)
Despite having only seven players, Le Viking Du Nord kept it even up until the final frame where the young legs of Tank took over. Showing his skill and leadership, N.Gilbert completed the night by riffling his third goal for a hat trick to finish with four points. M.Gagnon and B.Deslauriers helped seal the win combining for six points while J.Asselin along with L.Larocque did the best they could for le Viking Du Nord scoring two goals a piece.
(3)MoneyShot vs BijouxJr(2)
S.Vitali may have owned the opening frame notching both goals for BijouxJr but that changed when J.Tutino took over with three straight points to help MoneyShot get the slight edge. His two goals and one assist all happened in the second period that included a feed on T.Oliveira’s game winning goal. After a slow start to the match, W.Foster had a bounce back performance shutting the door for two straight periods in nets.
(9)Nelmar vs Punishers(6)
While each side decided to open it up, Nelmar won a big third period battle to get the result. After scoring his clubs first two goals, E.Brady shifted his role by the third period where he fed D.Hill on two occasions to secure the win for Nelmar. A.Papazian contributed with a multi goal game while C.Gagnon tallied twice in the loss.
(2)Hellfish vs Fat Cats(3)
Known for his speed and stick handling abilities, F.Gentile played a vital role for the Fat Cats in a close 3-2 win over the Hellfish. After assisting on R.Masella’s equaliser, F.Gentile helped set up the game winning goal courtesy of E.Panzera. K.Hrivnak took the place of G-C Sangiovanni between the pipes and did an excellent job limiting the Hellfish offence to only two goals.
(1)Horsemen vs Buckshots(6)
The Buckshots are starting to show that they mean business as they rout the Horsemen by five goals. Nobody really stood out as everyone pulled their weight to get the job done. Most of their offence occurred by the second period where they tallied two late goals to put the match away. C.Stavriadis did his part once more as the slick net minder denied all but one player.
(4)Stingers vs Brewers(7)
Despite a bad start to the game, the Brewers were able to overcome a two goal deficit to take the match over the Stingers. The comeback occurred by the second period that saw A.Lanni participate in all four goals to help carry a 5-4 lead heading into the third period. At that point the Brewers never let up and made sure to put the match away by adding a pair of insurance markers.

The player of the night goes out to Dan Hill of Nelmar. The slick forward produced five points in a 9-6 win over the Punishers.
