From start to finish, the Dragons did everything right to earn the win over Hellas. The Dragons posted goals in every frame and only pulled away by the end of the second period where they notched two late tallies for a comfortable 3-0 lead. G.DeMarinis struck first for the game winner and S.Morante denied everything in his direction to earn the shutout.
(2)Les Bananes vs Bramabulls(6)
The Bramabulls benefited on two first period power play chances and never looked back as they rout les Bananes 6-2.M.Argiris scored one of his two goals with the man advantage but it was the dominant play of M.Richard that ultimately made the difference as the power forward accumulated five out of a possible six points. Les Bananes only got on the scoresheet by the final frame getting tallies from both F.Remon and J-M Roy-Brisson.
(3)United Arms vs Blades(5)
It took over two periods but the Blades finally got their offence going riffling four third period tallies. After assisting on D.Bertrand’s for the first goal of the game, E.Girouard didn’t stop there as the natural sniper scored once and added two more helpers to finish with four points. S.Robineault was involved as well netting two markers for the win while Y.Nazarian was the United Arms best player with three points.
(3)Brewers vs Mighty Drunks(1)
Hard work and discipline pays off once more for the Brewers as they edge the Mighty Drunks to start their season with a 2-0 record. More often than not, D.Verta does produce more consistently on a regular basis as the slick forward tallied in every frame as the lone goal scorer for his club. The Mighty Drunks only got on the board once thanks to a power play goal from M.Arkalis. After facing nearly 30 shots, C.Muccino did his part in nets allowing only one goal.
The player of the night goes out to Danny Verta. In every frame, Danny Verta cashed in to help give the Brewers a 3-1 win over the Mighty Drunks.
