J.Beaudry made 20 saves, S.Lavoie scored two goals as the Northstars continue to dominate the C Monday night division. It wasn’t until the mid way mark of the game where the Northstars finally got on the board with a tally from P.Lavoie. With only four goals against in four games, the Northstars are doing a fine job limiting their opposition’s offence.
(2)Capitals vs Team Greece(0)
The Capitals did just enough in this match to capture the win. It took all but one key power play tally from J-F Goulet and a flawless net minding performance by C.Fortin to blank a struggling offence. After four games played, Team Greece haven’t allowed many goals but haven’t generated the offensive numbers they are hoping for.
(3)Capitals vs Team Finland(4) O.T
Still going strong, the veteran P.Musto comes up big twice with crucial goals in a tight 4-3 win over the Capitals. With less than two minutes remaining in the contest, P.Musto not only tied things up at three goals a piece but was able to win it for his club just over a minute into overtime. J.Corsi had plenty to do with the victory as the set up man assisted in all four goals. Despite the loss, the Capitals won’t be putting their heads down knowing it was a second match on the same night.
(4)River Rats vs Les Rouges(3)
F.Dominianni comes up big once more as the River Rats improve to a 2-2 record. The slick d-man did it all from setting up M.Testolina before adding two goals that included one very late in the game. Each side traded a pair of first period goals, and a power play marker each before F.Dominianni came through in the end.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to James Corsi of Team Finland. On all four goals, the brilliant forward made them all happen that included a pair of crucial assists in a 4-3 overtime win over the Capitals.
