(5)Assurance Evolution vs 23rd Hour(4)
L’Assurance Evolution worked their power play striking three times as they barely got by the 23rd Hour. Most of their offence came in the third period winning the frame 3-1 where they were able to post up two goals with their five man unit. Y.Gourde and J-F Campeau had two goals each while J.Lamoutue Remo had the most points finishing with three helpers.
(1)JAC Motosport vs Billionaire Boys(8)
After a slow start to their season, the Billionaire Boys captured a convincing result versus a good hockey team. The Billionaire Boys poured on the offence in the second period riffling five straight goals and carried a comfortable 7-0 lead before trading goals by the third. S.Bordonaro, captain of his team opened the scoring and added a second tally while J.Velenosi did the same scoring twice as well. S.Bentivegna was headed for a shutout up until the JAC Motosport captain A.Bell spoiled the moment with a power play goal.
(5)Seals vs Werewolves(8)
It didn’t come easy but the Werewolves found a way to down the Seals. The Seals pulled within a goal very early in the third period when D.Chartrand bagged his second of the match but that was as close as they got. The Werewolves took over at that point netting three straight markers that saw P.Stroubakis complete his hat trick. Still without a point, the Seals still have half a season to get back into the race and have the potential to do so if key elements remain.
(4)Carnage vs French Connection(9)
The goal scoring wrecking machine went at it once more on Thursday night as O.Valiquette keeps putting up the numbers. Tonight, he decided to complete not one but two hat tricks netting an unbelievable high of 26 goals in only six games. Not to be ignored, J.Farrese has plenty to do with it as the skilled centreman helped make five goals happen while netting one himself. The French Connection just captured their fifth win and sit on top of the E2 Thursday standings.
(5)Deadlast vs Scorpions(1)
Deadlast were dead evened in the third period where they opened the flood gates riffling four unanswered tallies. P.Elizardo’s hot hand went to work netting three straight goals and C.Chirola along with his captain C.Zafiropoulos made sure to cap off the night by adding some insurance. Deadlast weren’t happy with the way they started off their season, but with some key acquisitions, the men in red will potentially make noise moving forward.
(3)Street Ballers vs Stones(2)
The Stones just suffered their first loss of the season to the hands of the Street Ballers. M.Russo took advantage of a third period power play opportunity to even the score at two goals a piece for the Stones, but as time went by, Y.Dube put the Street Ballers back on top with a goal that stood up till the end. With no one really standing out offensively, S.Sauk was the Street Ballers best player as the experienced net minder made important saves all game long to earn the win.
(4)Chiefs vs Electric Area(7)
Slippery conditions didn’t help both sides but the Electric Area used their feet a little better to earn the win over the Chiefs. The Chiefs led for a good portion of the match until M.Menassa decided otherwise. The slick forward quietly sneaked his way into open areas and made plenty happen scoring three times while setting up A.Gregory for the game winning goal. T.Saviolidis also had a big game with four points for the Electric Area while Y.Gazura had a four point game as well but in a losing cause.
(14)Renceur vs Armored Saints(5)
They are young, quick and extremely talented and not even a solid team like the Armored Saints were able to contain them on Thursday night. Renceur will be a force all year and tonight they showed why with an explosive performance. Already up 7-2 after one period, Renceur continued to stroll along bagging another seven goals in the last two frames. It made sense that B.Deslauriers had the most goals finishing with a hat trick while J.Quesnel-Vinet, M-A Lefebvre and A.Dayan all had two goals a piece.

Saturday October 18
(4)Scorpions vs Legion(3)
Despite a slow start to the game, the Scorpions are glad to capture three points versus a depleted line up. The come back began in the second period where the Scorpions bagged three unanswered goals to grab their first lead of the night. N.Zermalias complicated things by netting his second marker and third point of the game for Legion until a late tally from the Scorpions captain B.Douek changed the result.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Mikael Menassa of the Electric Area. The right handed centre man had his way against the Chiefs converting on three occasions while adding a helper on the game winning goal.
