(3)Scorpions vs Renceur(1)
It’s never easy limiting a team like Renceur to only one goal but the Scorpions found a way to nearly blank them. The Scorpions played a near perfect game for over two periods before giving up their only tally of the night. A.Clark provided offence like he usually does posting a pair of goals while M.Baccari got his clubs lone marker. Renceur still managed to fire over 30 shots but had trouble on this night solving H.Trahan.
(4)Chiefs vs Legion(5)
As much as Legion deserves credit for their result, the Chiefs weren’t too happy with the way things ended. Up by two and with only half a period remaining, the Chiefs couldn’t defend versus a club with only two changes. Already with a pair of assists, G.Chountalos came up huge on two occasions with back to back goals less than a minute apart before M.Latreille lifted Legion with the game winner. That game winning goal was his third of the contest.
(3)Electric Area vs Renceur(4)S.O
Despite coming out on top, Le Renceur were far from convincing in their double header night. After dropping their earlier contest to the Scorpions, the young squad were forced to squeak a shootout win over the Electric Area. They needed two power play goals and a three point game from M-A Lefebvre who was also able to net the shootout winner. What made this loss frustrating for the Electric Area was that they led all game long until losing the shootout battle.
(4)Billionaire Boys vs Carnage(2)
It was a first of two games for both these clubs, and after dominating the third period, the Billionaire Boys won the opening battle. With efforts from four different players, M.Colatosti took advantage of a third period power play snapping a 2-2 tie before J.Velenosi made sure to put the match away with an insurance marker. S.Bentivegna had a very busy night ahead of him and was able to stand strong between the pipes with strong performance.
(4)Carnage vs Billionaire Boys(5) O.T
With a chance to even the score, Carnage weren’t able to fight off the last three minutes of the game. The Billionaire Boys were running out of time but managed to take advantage of a late power play chance where N.Bruno came up clutch netting the equaliser before upping the ante in overtime by posting the game winning tally. Each side did a fine job with their special teams bagging two power play goals a piece. M.Melo had a strong game notching two goals for the win while A.Angelis did the same for Carnage.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Andrew Clark. The Scorpions sniper was able to power two goals in a 3-1 win over the division leaders.
