Wednesday December 17 (Finals)
(3)ITT/Audi vs Primetime(5) F3 Game 1
As much as Primetime posses a solid unit, it’s always nice to have a go to player such as S.DosSantos in the line up. Tonight, was just a continuation of what the solid forward has been bringing to his club. His three goals and one helper led Primetime to a game one victory over a team that hasn’t lost much all season long. After winning the opening frame 2-1, Primetime put the match away with three second period unanswered goals.
(3)Primetime vs ITT/Audi(6) F3 Game 2
They weren’t planning to go down just yet as ITT/Audi bounces back with a double up win to even the series. A.Stamiris found four different teammates resulting into goals and S.Robineault was able to strike twice as the only multi goal scorer of the contest. The division leaders led 3-2 after one period before pulling away from the match with the next three straight goals.
(3)ITT/Audi vs Primetime(2) F3 Game 3 S.O
It took 14 shooters and 7 rounds before C.Doulis netted the winner to defeat Primetime in a record setting skill competition on Wednesday night. Each side played through a scoreless 15 minute mini game along with a scoreless overtime period before testing their luck in the shootout. Very deserving were both net minders as A.Caruso kept a clean score sheet while his counter part P.Assadi lived up to the task as well making one extra save proving to be the difference. After trailing 1-0 in the series, ITT/Audi bounced back and won two very difficult games to capture the title. On behalf of Hockeyballe.com, we would like to congratulate Pedram Assadi and the rest of ITT/Audi for winning the F3 Wednesday night division championship.
