(7)Hulkamania vs Bete Noire(4)

From the opening draw, Hulkamania created immediate momemtum throughout most of the night to hand Bete Noire another loss. B.Deslauriers(2G) and N.Gilbert(2G-2A) posted multi goal games for Hulkamania. After grabbing a 4-1 third period lead, each side decided to open it up trading three goals a piece. M.Mavroudis(2G-1A) collected a few points in the loss. Still trying to shake off some rust, Bete Noire will need to wait another week to try and get on board.

(6)Bijoux vs Butchers(4)

After collecting two goals in only 30 seconds, Bijoux took control of the situation for the remainder of the match. D.Dias and S.Larouche-Champagne(1G-1A) struck moments apart giving Bijoux a 3-1 first period lead. Each side went on to trade a pair of second period tallies which was fine for Bijoux who always maintained a two goal lead up until the final frame when A.DeSua(2G) reduced the gap by one. As close as that might have been, S.Vitali(2G-1A) went on to secure the win by putting together two big goals. The Butchers did have A.Gabrielli(2G) score twice and M.Zampino(3A) collect three points but it wasn’t enough to climb out of that final spot.

(6)Red Vipers vs Hit List(5) O.T

P.Levesque and his Red Vipers teammates celebrated after only one minute into the sudden death frame. For nearly half the game, the Red Vipers toppled the Hit List building a 4-0 lead. A.Poirier(3G-1A) carried the load bagging three straight goals along with the eventual helper on the game winning tally. After finding themselves in a big hole, the Hit List regrouped and took it a shift at a time to get back into the game. L.Richard(2G-2A) was the catalyst for his club by registering a total of four points in only six minutes. The Red Vipers did manage to regain their lead on the power play courtesy of J.Dumouchel(1-G) but that got erased when J-F Huppe(2G) scored with only five seconds remaining in the contest. After all that hard work to get back into the match, the Hit List couldn’t get it done when it counted the most.

(3)HC Inter vs Dark Knights(5)

Trailing 3-1 for most of the third period, the Dark Knights scored four times in a span of 4:30 to take the lead and went on to a 5-3 victory over the HC Inter. A.Covone(1-G) charged the comeback  by the nine minute mark of the final frame which led to tallies from A.Attia(2G-1G), J.Amato(1G) and S.Maratta(1G).The HC inter looked to be in good shape for most of the night getting balanced scoring until they eventually fell apart. This was a perfect opportunity for the HC Inter to take sole possession of first place but will need to settle for second trailing the Dark Knights by two points.

(6)Red Nose vs Icons(3)

J-P Meunier’s(4G-1A) four goal performance helps Red Nose double up the Icons on Sunday night. With the help of G.Delia’s(4A) four assists, the clicking duo proved to be a hand full for the Icons who suffered their first loss in three games. The Red Nose took control of the game by the second period winning the frame 3-1.K.Miraldo(1G-1A) notched an important power play goal to put his club up 3-1.B.Verducci had plenty of offence to deal with but did a fairly good job allowing only one goal per period facing a total of 30 shots.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to J-P Meunier of Red Nose. His four goals and one assist propelled his club to beat a difficult Icons opponent 6-3.
