(5)HC Inter vs Bijoux(4)

D.Pasquini scored the eventual game winner during a wild five goal third period, helping HC Inter get a big win over the front running Bijoux. The division leader’s fought back with three consecutive goals to erase a three goal deficit but HC Inter stormed back with three goals of their own. D.Crivello had a multi goal, four point night in the win while M.Grilo was a force for Bijoux participating in all four tallies. This win guarantees a playoff spot and a fourth place finish for the HC Inter.

(6)Dark Knights vs Butchers(2)

Only up 2-1 after two periods, the Dark Knights burst with four third period goals to hand the Butchers a 6-2 loss. A.Baggio took care of the scoring with both goals by the end of the second period before four different teammates went on to add tallies in the third. S.Maratta riffled the winner, the captain A.Attia collected three points and U.Cangal was solid in nets allowing only two goals on 22 shots. With only two wins in ten games, the Butchers struggled all season long and will miss the post season for a very rare time.

(4)Hit List vs Bijoux(6)

Unhappy with their previous performance, Bijoux made it a point to finish their regular season strong. It didn’t come easy as a power play goal by D.Dire put Bijoux in the driver’s seat with a 5-4 third period lead. S.Larouche-Champagne added the sealer late in the game for his second of the night. Apart from his winner, Dire also scored twice while adding a helper. In a division with plenty of parody, Bijoux took top spot with only six wins in ten games.

(3)Red Nose vs Hulkamania(6)

Two third period power play goals turned a Hulkamania deficit into a lead which were followed with a pair of insurance markers to confirm a 6-3 double up win over the Red Nose. Hulkamania did no favors to their rival, who knew that a win was required to enter the post season. The men in yellow used balanced scoring with efforts from six different players. K.Araujo had the most points with three that included a helper on N.Gilbert’s game winning goal. This win set the stage for a perfect way to end the regular season as Hulkamania looked to take on the Icons for first place in their double header night.

(6)Red Vipers vs Bete Noire(5) S.O

Somehow a 5-0 lead just wasn’t good enough for the Red Vipers who needed a shootout for the win. Bete Noire managed to reset what had happened and took it one step at a time. A.Jalilvand motivated his club by netting a late first period power play goal to reduce the gap by three. Knowing that they had more than enough time, Bete Noire fought hard netting two second period goals and even harder by the third to even the score. Once again, A.Jalilvand came through, this time posting a big shorthanded marker for the equalizer. With that kind of momentum, Bete Noire looked to end things in extra time but it was the Red Vipers getting the last word. M.Deslauriers was the lone shootout goal scorer giving the Red Vipers an unsatisfying win. A.Poirier along with his captain K.Kersaint gave the Red Vipers a good start to the night posting a pair of goals each.

(4)Icons vs Hulkamania(2)

Despite a good start to the match, Hulkamania simply couldn’t keep up with a much better prepared team. The Icons overcame a 2-0 hole posting two late second period tallies leveling the game at two goals a piece. Once that surge happened, the Icons kept on putting on the pressure by adding two more markers. G.Panagiotopoulos put the Icons in front for the first time early in the third period and was able to set up G.Chountalos moments later for some insurance. It came in a losing cause but B.Deslauriers did start the match strong posting both goals for Hulkamania. The Icons will gladly take the win and a first place finish to the E1 standings but won’t be satisfied unless they are hoisting the trophy.

With the regular season ending for both the E1 and E2 divisions, the top four seeds will be playing in a best of three series in the semi final rounds. The match ups are as follows:
