Goaltenders duel end in draw

The 1 Timer took a lesson fromm their bad start of a week ago to make sure they were ready in their challenge versus Les Coqs. With the help of their two snipers, P-A Surprenant and T.Daigneault provided much of the offence bagging two goals each while their captain S.Koch helped set up three of those tallies. Les Coqs finished last week’s contest very strong but were unable to get anything by F.Koch, who denied 18 shots his way. In hopes of continuing their momentum into the second match, the 1 Timer started to feel like they were on the other side of the spectrum. This time, it was Les Coqs scoring and defending better while getting the necessary goaltending by their veteran F.Vigliotti. B.Scouloudis scored a lone first period goal while T.Damas brought it a step further notching two very late tallies to exchange victories. The 1 Timer got snake bitten trying to get at least one by F.Vigliotti, who stopped all 14 shots his way.

Reoccurring theme, Team X can’t win or lose twice in a row

Its week five of the regular season and Team X continue to split their results. Whatever the reasons, Venom came out to play storming with three goals in only six and a half minutes. J.Quesnel-Vinet scored twice in only sixty seconds and Venom was simply all over their opponent. The frame ended 3-0 and could have been a lot worst if not for Pedram Assadi’s goaltending. Given some time to regroup, Team X came out stronger but still lost the battle. J.Courteau showed again why he’s a natural goal scorer by providing two goals while J.Quesnel-Vinet went on to complete his hat trick. Unhappy with the way things went, Team X have plenty of pride and made sure not to duplicate their lack luster performance. After a scoreless opening frame, S.Marricco battled his way to getting his own rebound and notching the first goal of the match. That tally sparked the very same S.Marricco to set up a perfect pass to D.Ramada, who used a precise wrist shot to beat M.Trivisonno. Venom did cut the lead in half when K.Aruajo riffled a rocket that gave Assadi no chance, but with only over a minute remaining, J.Pantelis ended the night with an empty net marker.
