Stones hit a wall, Les Carmoni de Fabreville collect 4 big points
Strong performances-from P.Corbin and O.Caillet and nifty shootout markers highlighted the Monday night’s game between the Stones and Les Carmoni de Fabreville. In what was a chess styled match, both sides settled for a 3-3 draw in the opening contest that saw A.Bergomi score for the Stones while L-C Desmarais replied for Les Carmoni De Fabreville in the shootout. After being down 2-0 to goals by J.Poirier and D.Desmarais, the Stones were able to reply with a pair of quick tallies by their captain S.Sicuso to force the match into extra time. The second contest had a similar effect with the score being low and Les Carmoni striking with the first two goals of the game. However, the Stones couldn’t battle back enough despite cutting the lead in half courtesy of M.DaSilva. That tally came a little too late that led to a 21 save performance by P.Corbin. All in all, this was a good overall result for Les Carmoni De Fabreville, who entered the night with only three points after four games.

Total domination as Punishers trounce 1 Timer two straight times
If there is one night in a season that you want to forget, this would be it for the 1 Timer who were nowhere to be seen. With that said, credit will go to the Punishers as they stormed through four consecutive periods en route to landslide results. Nearly every single player collect points that saw A.Dayan lead the way in the goals scoring department with five tallies in both games. N.Mackeen had the luxury of playing with a massive lead but still did his part allowing only three goals on 28 shots. The Punishers didn’t like the way things ended last week in their game against the Stones and it showed by the way they responded on this night. These results put the recent champs back in familiar territory which is first place of the division.
