(7)Tropics vs Punishers (1)
Tropics frustrate Punishers
If there is one game to forget for the Punishers, this will have to be it if they plan on challenging the Tropics later on. The game went-from bad to worse with nothing going right as of the opening draw. The Tropics were simply a handful throughout the entire match that saw them win every period that included an incredible four goal game- from a prolific goal scorer. A.DeLuca won’t miss once he has a chance and tonight he showed that by putting four behind the Punishers net minder. V.Crivello did his usual collecting points which result in one goal and three assists. The Punishers can argue that they didn’t have all their players as they realized that it would take a complete squad in order to take down a team like the Tropics.
(8)Smackdaddys vs Venom(1)
Captain K.Arsenault and Smackdaddys manhandles Venom
Six minutes in, and K.Arsenault showed everyone that he was primed for this contest. The captain wasted no time scoring two goals that included a shorthanded marker for an early 2-0 lead. If that wasn’t enough, Arsenault wasn’t planning on letting go of the gas pedal. His two goals resulted in two more tallies to complete a massive goal scoring output. But to his help, S.Euchi was credited to making it happen as the forward set his captain up on all four occasions. At no point was Venom in this game. Their only bright moment came by the nine minute mark of the second period when E.Medrano got the better of Y.Hassani.
(5)Tropics vs Fat Roy(1)
Tropics double dip victories in double header night
Considering the season that Fat Roy is having till now, this isn’t a bad result. The Tropics are hotter than a devils rear end and still needed a third period to decide the outcome in this contest. The let down occurred in a very short span with T.Costopoulos and A.DeLuca bagging goals only 15 seconds apart. From-there, the Tropics fed off that sequence producing two more tallies en route to a second straight win in only two hours. Naturally, V.Crivello was behind the madness collecting three more points while A.Boulieri quietly gets the job done allowing only two goals in both games.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Kevin Arsenault of the Smackdaddys. The captain was definitely ready to play on this night by picking apart the Venom defense with a total of four goals.
