(3)Fat Roy vs Smackdaddys(5)
Smackdaddys take seesaw battle with Fat Roy
The lead was passed back and forth Wednesday night, from the Smackdaddys to Fat Roy and back again. The game was finally seized when the Smackdaddys used three unanswered third period tallies. M.Crevier-Raymond had a major effect in the game posting three goals and an assist. After storming back-from a 2-0 deficit, Fat Roy gained control of the second period with three straight markers including two goals-from P.Arkalis and the other by N.Gikas. But it still wasn’t good enough for Fat Roy as a third period meltdown resulted into another loss.
(4)Venom vs Punishers(7)
Punishers rolls over Venom
Once again the offense was in high gear for the Punishers, this time netting seven to oust a depleted Venom team. Despite the short bench, this contest was very close for two periods. It was by the final frame where the energy level couldn’t be matched by Venom. The Punishers pulled way bagging three goals that included P.Karvouriaris’s and K.Kakivelis’s second of the night. It came in a losing cause but Y.Gazura may have been the best player out there with a hat trick. After ten games into the season, the Punishers are dominating the goals for department with a whopping 56 goals.
(2)Fat Roy vs Tropics(5)
V.Crivello just can’t be stopped
It doesn’t seem to matter anymore that teams are aware of how dangerous V.Crivello really is. The Tropics scored five goals in this contest and V.Crivello had his hand in four of the tallies that went in. Like he does in every game, the skilled forward helped set up three different teammates while deciding to put one in himself. Five different goal scores found the back of the net which is rare for the Tropics, who normally have someone riffling a hat trick. Unfortunately for Fat Roy, this was their second game in only two hours which is never easy, especially when going up against the Tropics.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Vincent Crivello of the Tropics. With his one goal and three assists, V.Crivello continues to dominate the D Wednesday division with the most points.
