Rhinos score out narrow 6-5 win over Bramabulls

For two periods, the Bramabulls managed to hold on but that ended slipping away once the third period hit. The Raging Rhinos sparked three goals during the last 15 minutes to eke out a close 6-5 win. J.Zannis led all teammates with two goals but it was S.Labrecque’s late tally that proved to be the winner. Despite the loss, the Bramabulls put up a real good challenge having to play with only two changes. Five different players scored in the loss that included three points-from D.Verta.

(3)SBS Trashers vs Carnage(4) O.T

M.Pace slips in winner, Carnage celebrates sudden death victory

The penalty box looked to be rented out for the Thrashers who spent way too much time that ultimately doomed them in the end. With two power play goals, M.Pace was able to hurt his opponent and grab two nice points against a side that’s been running on all cylinders. Apart-from the second period, the SBS Trashers didn’t have much going on this night. J.Scalia still managed to collect three points that saw F.Gentile benefit twice. A.Kalaydjian and A.Longo notched two first period markers for Carnage and B.Madonis stopped close to 30 shots to earn well deserved win in net.

Dragons break out for 5 third period goals

Unable to connect the way they would have liked, the Dragons had to wait till the third period for most their goals to come. And once they did, Deadlast couldn’t stop the bleeding. L.Dulcetta sparked an early third period power play marker as one of five that went in a short span. B.Barile scored twice in just over a minute while E.Gabrielli and G.Cardillo also tallied for the Dragons. The match was tied 3-3 after two periods before both sides went on a scoring frenzy. Deadlast did manage three tallies that included a hat trick by N.Gikas but found themselves in the losing end of a run and gun battle.

Street Ballers pull away by third to oust Spartans

For most of the season, the Spartans have been keeping the games close, at least in the first two periods. It’s by the final 15 minutes where things seem to fall apart. The Street Ballers carried a 5-3 lead before adding five more tallies to put the game completely out of reach. A.Jalbert buried at least one goal in every period to lead all teammates with a hat trick. The captain had a say as well as M.Gibeault struck twice along with his teammate V.Mancini. As for the Spartans, their captain J.Tesolin was also productive riffling two out of his clubs four goals.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marco Pace of Carnage. In a close 4-3 overtime win over the SBS Trashers, the Carnage striker came up huge bagging two tallies that included the sudden death winner.
