E.Tochan’s four goal game powers Les Raymonds past Lumberjacks

E.Tochan had a night to remember for Les Raymonds on Wednesday night.The forward sparked two first period goals along with the games last two tallies for the convincing win. It didn’t take long for Les Raymonds to get the Lumberjacks off guard. The score was already 3-0 after only five minutes which could have only suggested a very long night for the Lumberjacks defense and goaltender. M-A Haber did get his club on board early in the second period but that was as far as it got for the Lumberjacks. S.Lecavalier got all the help he needed in front of him and earned the win in net allowing only one goal on 25 shots.

B.Deslauriers and N.Gilbert each score twice to end slump

After three straight games without a win, Venom made it a point to turn it around against the Bramabulls. Every single player participated in one way or another. The offense was charged, the defense was sound and the goaltending didn’t disappoint as M.Trivisonno guarded his cage with conviction. Venom won all three periods and had their better moments by the second frame where they ignited three straight markers for a 5-2 lead. B.Deslauriers made the most noise with five points and N.Gilbert dressed for the first time making an immediate impact with a pair of tallies.

Fat Cats show why they are on top

Something had to give on Wednesday night as two undefeated teams clashed to see who would be on top of the F3 division. Normally, this kind of hype would suggest for a competitive close match but it wasn’t the case as the Fat Cats out did their opponent. Apart from S.Hrivnak’s two goals, the Fat Cats had many of their players find the back of the net. They dictated much of the pace that Deadlast couldn’t keep up. Each side worked their power play trading two goals each. If there is one category that the Fat Cats can be pleased with so far apart-from their 6-0 record is the fact that they gave up only eleven goals during that stretch. G.Sangiovanni has been sharp so far and will continue to thrive, especially with a steady defence in front of him.

(8)RBK Knights vs Primetime(4)

RBK Knights looking to turn things around

After playing to a 1-1 first period tie, the RBK Knights put on a remarkable offensive display by the second frame. Goals started to pour in as early as the 25 second mark. Five different players struck to find the back of the net and Primetime couldn’t find a way to slow things down. C.Ladas was the only player to score twice and S.Sauk was stellar collecting his second win in six starts. The RBK Knights are starting to show that they are competitive with some of the top teams after adding some key components to their line-up. If they remain intact, teams will have their hands full.

Armadillos extend winning streak thanks to P.Koutsogiannopoulos’s hat trick

P.Koutsogiannopoulos led the way with a hat trick, D.Mattar stopped 28 shots and the Armadillos refuse to lose a game this season. The division leaders increased their point lead by ten points leaving every other team in the dust. But as good as they have been, there is some concern for J.Kontitsis and his deep line up. Many of their games got decided in the third period just like in this contest with Les Agents Libre. The match was levelled at three goals apiece before P.Legatos snapped the tie and Koutsogiannopoulos buried the win in an empty cage. If teams keep giving this kind of a challenge, then anything is possible no matter what their record shows.
