They didn't need bigger nets on this particular night. The score was 6-1 at one point for the Mohicans who were headed for the ten goal mercy rule. However that appeared to be an illusion as the Werewolves ate their spinach returning the favour in an even bigger way. The SBS Trashers never felt comfortable with the situation and had to work all game long to keep a very slight lead going. The win came with scoring efforts -from five different players. M.Siconolfi and K.Hrivnack used their hard slap shots that just squeezed by B.Madonis. Carnage got most of their offense by two particular players. But as time went on, the Raging Rhinos were clearly by far the better side collecting four straight goals that turned a deficit into a two goal cushion. However, the Chiefs felt confident that they could have overcome the terrible slide. After a pair of nice passing plays, P.Santullo and S.Koulieris each scored to force the extra time.
