M.Kardum has two goals and two assists to lead Hellfish past Golden Knights

M.Kardum fingerprints were all over the Hellfish 4-3 victory on Wednesday night. The forward scored a pair of goals while setting up M.Chartrand and F.Benhamadi. The Hellfish appeared to be having an easy night up 3-0 by the three minute mark of the second period. But with still loads of time left over, the Golden Knights weren't calling it quits. R.Ricard helped mount the comeback collecting three points that included a pair of markers. Twice they pulled within one but were never able to equalise the score. Unless they address their lack of players, these results are to be expected.

P.Karvouriaris continues to tear it up with five more points

P.Karvouriaris continues to show why he dominates the court on a regular basis. In tonight's case, the Punishers pulled away by the third period winning the frame 5-2 with Karvouriaris accumulating three points as part of a five point performance. P.Arkalis matched his line mate as well by scoring twice while setting up three goals. The Punishers played well over two periods before N.Mackeen conceded his first of two markers on the night. It's safe to say at this point the Punishers will win the division despite there being half a season remaining.

J.Pantelis rescues Fat Roy after dropping two goal lead

Fat Roy's cruise control button in the third period ran into technical difficulties. They built a nice 3-1 lead and had everything going smooth until a desperate Raymonds side forced the issue. The trailing squad scored twice in less than two minutes that eventually sent this contest into overtime. It was by then that Fat Roy took the match thanks to their gun J.Pantelis. This is the second time this season that Fat Roy seals it in extra time.

Horsemen no match for United Armenians

For about two periods, the Horsemen can argue that it was close. They only trailed 2-0 with still loads of time left over to overcome a slight deficit. However, once the third period began, the United Armenians crushed that hope with two quick goals. G.Jerjian had opened the scoring in the first period and closed it off with his clubs sixth goal of the night. At no point did G.Follano flinch as the net minder stopped every single ball in his direction.

N.Gikas and J.Mckenzie at it again

If it's not one it's the other. The Winter Soldiers have an overall deep group but they do have a few spark plugs that consistently get their names noticed. Two of those players are N.Gikas, who ignited three goals and two assists along with J.Mckenzie capping his night off with four points. With that kind of fire power up front, the Winter Soldiers don't have issues scoring goals. And while the offensive output can be relied on, so can their defensive game along with the goaltender. This is their sixth game of the season, and maybe their most impressive stat is in the goals against department. The Winter Soldiers have allowed only 16 goals during that span which is seven less than the next team in line.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Niko Gikas of the Winter Soldiers. By using his razor sharp hands, N.Gikas had a field day on Wednesday bagging three goals and two helpers.
