(4)HBHA Master's 37+ vs Fat Cats(2)
HBHA Master's jump on Fat Cats early to take season opener
The HBHA Master's were in rhythm and the Fat Cats looked rusty. P.Lapointe set up the third and fourth goal to help provide a massive four goal lead just shy of the mid way point of the match. The Fat Cats felt that they were chasing the game for most of the night. It took nearly the entire game for them to get on board. G.Bampos snapped C.Stavriadis's shutout late in the game right before F.Gentile provided the Fat Cats second goal. With scoring efforts-from four different players, the HBHA Master's are fast, deep, well oiled and will surely give problems to any opponent they face.
(5)RBK Knights vs Kentucky Blue(8)
T.Oliveira takes no breaks with another 4 goal performance
Last season's scoring leader continued his magic on Wednesday night as a four goal performance powered the Kentucky Blue over the RBK knights. T.Oliveira notched half of his team's goals and they couldn't have come at a better time. This contest was deadlocked at five goals apiece before the sniper took matters into his own hands. Already with a goal, Oliveira went on a rampage posting three in a row in the short span of only three minutes. James Tutino chipped in with a pair and an assist and will also be another significant piece to the puzzle. The Kentucky Blue are proving once again that they can put up the numbers while the RBK Knights keep dealing with devastating losses occurring towards the late stages of the game. Despite the harsh defeat, R.Ricard and P.Santullo kept the game very close as both players combined for seven points with Ricard leading the way striking three times along with a helper.
(1)Horsemen vs Hellfish(7)
There was no championship hangover, Hellfish keep good habits
The concept of a championship hangover had zero effect on the recent winners of the F3 division. After taking a couple of weeks off, the Hellfish were still in full form. They played a near perfect game by winning every period, scoring twice on the power play while getting the expected goaltending-from B.Verducci. The only sour note came late in the game when D.Georgopoulos spoiled Veducci' shutout on the power play. M.Chartrand and F.Benhamadi will be looked upon to providing some of the Hellfish's offense as both players came through riffling two goals each.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Tyson Oliveira of the Kentucky Blue. Anytime the game is on the line, the Kentucky Blue know they have a chance to win thanks to T.Oliveira's goal scoring ability. The sniper decided the contest bagging three late markers as part of a four goal performance.
