M.Deninno's strikes 4 times, Les Raymonds give Golden Knights thumping

The Golden Knights have been playing some good hockey as of late, until tonight's horror show versus Les Raymonds. M.Deninno had a monster game scoring four times along with G.Delia, who collected four assists. It was just one of those nights that the Golden Knights will need to forget. They fell early trailing the opening frame 4-0, and showed no signs of life in what felt like a hopeless cause. Les Raymonds totalled nine of their ten goals in the first two periods alone.

(5)HBHA Masters 37+ vs Team Haiti(2)

J.Pantelis's hat trick powers HBHA in payback match vs Haiti

The HBHA Masters strolled to victory after dropping a tight contest only a week ago to the very same club. The problem in last week's affair was the lack of scoring despite having plenty of chances to do so. However, that wasn't the case in tonight's pay back match up. J.Pantelis cracked the barrier at least once in every frame to earn a hat trick. L.Williams and A.Angelis also went on to score while E.Parent stopped 27 of 29 shots to seal the victory in net. Team Haiti went in a deep hole trailing 3-0 at one point but managed to pull within one on a pair of quick goals. Unfortunately, that was all they had as the HBHA Masters regained control of the match en route to a 5-2 win.

(6)United Armenians vs Punishers (2)

Punishers collapse in third as United Armenians explode with four unanswered

Whatever the reasons, the Punishers suffered a meltdown in the short span of only four minutes. Both sides looked to be evenly matched trading a goal each in the first two periods. Then,once the five minute mark of the third period hit, the United Armenians shifted the tides. Three particular players carried the load on their shoulders. Leading the way in the goals department, A.Minassian struck three times while N.Chiminian and Y.Derohannessian combined for a massive eight points. It's never easy limiting the Punishers to only two goals but G.Follano had a big hand in it to earn the win in net.

Winter Soldiers remain hot with 5-0 shutout

It was quite clear that the Winter Soldiers came ready to play. It's been that way-from the beginning of the season and tonight was just another day at the office for the talented squad. They did everything right by winning all three frames while keeping a clean score sheet on the opposite side of the court. J.Mckenzie got the ball rolling in the first period, N.Gikas took advantage of a power play opportunity and D.Landucci added insurance posting back to back tallies. In addition to their contribution up front, A.Bitsakis was flawless between the pipes stopping all 20 shots his way.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Jimmy Pantelis of the HBHA Masters 37+. After dropping their contest only a week ago to Team Haiti, J.Pantelis responded in a heavy way notching three out of his clubs five goals.

Team Haiti hang on to beat United Armenians

The United Armenians pop gun offense hit a wall on Thursday night. Perhaps it had to do with some reinforcements that Team Haiti added along with R.Augustin-Registe controlling the pipes. Their lone goal came right after they gave up two straight to trail 2-1 after one period. And even though time wasn't an issue, the United Armenians couldn't find answers-from that point on. Team Haiti had the slight luxury of playing with the lead and made sure to protect it knowing that it was going to be a low scoring affair. J-M Loiseau widened the margin early in the third period, and still the United Armenians struggled to get anything by Augustin-Registe, who was sensational to record the win.

Gassed Golden Knights die out in third period

It's what came to be expected for the Golden Knights. They played well for about two periods before running out of gas by the third. The problem however was that they did have energy early on but still dropped the ball giving up three first period goals. The Horsemen would then pull away thanks to a pair of tallies-from their captain V.Pandza for a substantial 5-0 cushion. It was only-from there that the Golden Knights would finally get to M.Vinciguerra. The net minder went through a slight funk in the span of only 30 seconds where he gave up his only two markers of the night. The Golden Knights may have felt something brewing in hopes of bouncing back but were nowhere to be seen in the end.
