Four point night-from A.Lanni helps Brewers edge out Bramabulls

A.Lanni has been doing a lot of things right this season. The offensive production has been consistent so far and tonight was just another day at the office for the Brewers captain. The Brewers were able to edge out the Bramabulls thanks to Lanni's four points that included the game winner. T.Adamacopoulos, meanwhile, was a just as significant for the victory netting a pair of quick tallies that put his club up front heading into the final frame. Despite their short bench, the Bramabulls hung in there till the very end and nearly tied it up if it wasn't for G.Platanitis .

(7)National vs Pylons (3)

National pull away late to douse pesky Pylons

Having absolutely no choice to hang back and wait, the Pylons fared considerably well on the large part versus a quicker and deeper team. It worked at least for most of the match. However, it was just a matter of time before National would get their way. Throughout most of the game they controlled the play and could have blown this game wide open if it wasn't for O.Caillet taking care of his net. The goaltender was a major reason why this remained close. It took only couple of key plays by Rubens Morne in the third period to re assure the outcome. M.Pinheiro fed Morne twice in motion to find himself in front of the net minder unguarded where he simply found an opening to beat Caillet. And while he would normally get at least one tally out of the seven that went in, M.Pinheiro decided to take a different roll and set up four goals instead. S.Laplante opened and closed the scoring for National while T.Settino was an absolute beast for the Pylons having played the entire game without changing.

(5)Devil Dawgz vs The Family (1)

M.Trivisonno and G.Lallis shine as Devil Dawgz suffocate Family

The start looked promising for the Family when N.Addesa got to M.Trivisonno very early in the game. Then, only a couple of minutes later, N.Faria responded and the Devil Dawgz never looked back on five unanswered goals. The game did remain fairly close throughout most of the night. That was until G.Lallis provided some breathing room half way through the third period. Already with a pair of assists, G.Lallis potted two insurance markers to guarantee the victory. The Family had their moments here and there but found it hard to get much past Trivisonno, who was stellar stopping over 20 shots.

(4)Templars vs Chiefs (3)

Templars sharp and smart with little amount of players

Against a team that had to conserve their energy, the Chiefs failed to take advantage. The Templars are known for their stingy style and whether they have a full squad or not, opponents often find it difficult to penetrate their defence and net minder. The Chiefs did manage three goals on C.Muccino but quickly found themselves trailing in the third period when C.Palermo regained the lead for the Templars. The time remaining was more than enough for an equaliser by the Chiefs. After desperately trying to even the score, the Chiefs couldn't squeeze out a much need tally.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Anthony Lanni of the Brewers. In a tight encounter versus the Bramabulls, the Brewers captain was masterful collecting two helpers and an pair of goals that saw one stand up for the winner.
