Slight edge in shootout favours Brewers after back and forth action with Dragons
Though tempted throughout a back and forth affair on Thursday night, the Brewers owned one area of the game downing the Dragons 5-3 in the shootout. Apart- from the shootout being the main difference in the opening encounter, both these teams mirrored each other for close both games were. B.Pereira potted a pair of markers for the Brewers while P.Karigiannis and T.Fernando decided matters in the shootout. As expected ,much of the same occurred in the ensuing match with both sides trading plenty of chances resulting in a high octane affair. G.DeMarinis had a huge impact providing two goals in the final frame for the Dragons. On the flip side, P.Karigiannis had his motor running as the gritty forward added two more tallies and an assist for the Brewers. This time however, the goaltenders decided to take over denying all attempts their way. B.Makris was sharp and focused for the Brewers in net as was his counterpart H.Psaroudis.

Fatal Demons explode in second game after close encounter with Carnage
The Fatal Demons put together a thrilling five goal explosion in the second game after both sides drew even. With momentum swinging in the Fatal Demons favour, things kept getting worse for Carnage unable to stop the bleeding. They struck early and kept digging away making sure to keep the pace going. It barely took eight minutes in as four different players were able to find the back of the net. That short sequence summed it all up as both sides knew the final verdict. S.Labrecque opened and closed the scoring while S.Morante stopped all 13 shots for the shutout. Carnage had their best moment in the span of only 40 seconds when J.Bourlakos and S.Giannoulakis provided a slight 2-1 lead in the earlier match. Unfortunately, it barely held as R.Ranieri potted his second only seconds later which eventually ended in a tie.

Short bench plays against RCGT in double loss vs Family
Playing with a short bench is only asking for problems. The RCGT Knights had to endure four straight periods with no subs, and despite it all, they faired pretty well in the end. They didn’t get the results but the compete level was high and the end results respectable. The Family took advantage primarily in the second period where they trounced their opponent on six goals. Leading the charge was no other than M-A Dahha, who went on a scoring spree riffling four behind a helpless net minder. Somehow ,the second match was incredibly close, so close that it needed a big tie breaking goal-from the very same Dahha, who had another influence on the game netting his second in a narrow 4-3 victory. The RCGT kept pace with their opponent despite taking an earlier thumping while having to deal with no changes for the entire two games.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to M-A Dahha of the Family. Using his strength to his advantage, the power forward was too much to handle for the RCGT defense and net minder. Dahha finished with an impressive six goals and one assist in both games.
