Horsemen fuelled by consistency throughout their line up
Although the Unknown struck first and early thanks to A Barelo, that was all they had to show for the rest of the night. The Horsemen responded with energy, notably when P.Sidhom evened the score and were able to carry their strong play into the final frame posting two more tallies. That was just part one for a team that look to be the real deal so far this season. The way they have been going about their business , teams will struggle trying to beat them. The Unknown hoped for a close encounter to redeem themselves, but were no where close to competing with their opponent, who ran up the score to 4-0 by the nine minute mark of the first period. During that sequence, four different players found the back of the net including the winner by D.Sarno. After facing 34 total shots, M.Vinciguerra was clearly on his game allowing that one single goal early on.

M.Mavroudis hat trick and shorty powers Assadi Consulting inc over Club Ecole Orient
The Assadi Consulting inc made way their chances collecting an easy win to kick start their night with the Club Ecole Orient. Everything went well as of the nine minute mark where M.Mavroudis finally cracked the barrier netting his first of three during that encounter. J.Mandracchia picked up a pair of goals as well, and Pedram Assadi was solid allowing only T.Sakr to get the better of him. When games end in such a manner, the winning team tends to feel confident for another easy win. That mind set can often be dangerous at times, and if it weren’t for P.Assadi being sharp in the first period, the end result could have been different. The Club Ecole Orient put up a real challenge only to hit a solid goaltender. Unfortunately, that bit of bad luck came to bite them in the end as the game started to tilt by the final frame. Perhaps the biggest moment of the match occurred was when M.Mavroudis scored shorthanded for a 1-0 lead. From-there, the Assadi Consulting inc fed off the momentum and got rewarded on three more tallies including a pair-from Payam Assadi.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Manny Mavroudis of the Assadi Consulting inc. The power forward was influential in both games sparking a hat trick in the opener, and followed by a big shorthanded marker to break the ice in the second match.
