D.Verta and B.Burns share hat tricks in double wins for Brewers
It didn’t take long for the Brewers to get down to business. The Brewers kept up their wave of momentum with D.Verta making an immediate impact posting two goals before capping off his hat trick by the final frame. At no pint did the RCGT Knights have much going for them due to their slow start. In their minds, it was all about the second encounter if they planned to split with their opponent. They did adjust and came out better prepared ending the first period up 3-2. Unfortunately, one bad play let to another and all of a sudden things turned around for the worse. This time, B.Burns grabbed the bull by the horns and displayed one of his finest performances by bagging three out of the Brewers four goals in that final frame. The RCGT Knights floored a pretty decent line up but had only one solid period to show for.

Pylons push Carnage to brink with late winner by J.Constantin
In the clear, J.Constantin angled his stick back before putting as much weight into it to beat a defenceless net minder. That bullet came with less than two minutes remaining in the second game which gave the Pylons a slight 2-1 edge. Both teams couldn’t have played a closer battle with game one ending in a draw. A.Passarelli was a big part for the tie netting both goals but did not get the chance to be one of the three shooters in the breakaways for Carnage. That area belonged only to the goaltenders. G.Tritis was brilliant for Carnage throughout the entire night keeping his club in the game while denying all three shootout attempts, as was his counterpart O.Caillet ,who had to come out big in order to capture the victory. Although the loss may sting a little for Carnage, F.Pace knows well enough that both games could have gone his way.

Family adjust but fall short after lopsided affair with Fatal Demons
The Fatal Demons saw the Family at their worse after handing them a convincing 7-0 loss. And after it was said and done, both teams knew the next encounter wasn’t going to finish the same way. The Family understood they had to switch gears, and it showed right away making the Fatal Demons work much harder-from the start. The score was tied at two after the first period which suggested for a close finish. However, the Fatal Demons power play was on track as they used it to their advantage capitalising twice at a very crucial time during the game. S.Marricco just came off an earlier hat trick before snapping the dreaded 2-2 lock with the man advantage. Shortly after, J.Bolanakis doubled the lead and the Fatal Demons had some breathing room despite enough time left over. M.Braun did pull the Family within one with his second but it just wasn’t enough as M.Destounis put the night to rest feeding a yawning cage.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Sandro Marricco of the Fatal Demons. His ability to dominate the front of the net propelled the Fatal Demons twice over the Family on Thursday night. The natural sniper bagged a hat trick before coming up clutch in the second game snapping a 2-2 tie thanks to his power play goal.
