Snipers work ethic forces Assadi Consulting inc to fight for every inch

The Assadi Consulting inc entered their second game confident after closing out the Snipers 3-1 while looking to repeat a similar performance. It was at that point the Snipers decided to do something about it. And indeed they did by storming out of the gate posting three quick goals in only two minutes. As fast as it was, there was just too much time left over for any guarantees. The Snipers kept playing a sound defensive game by not giving much room for the Assadi Consulting inc attack to get anything going. They did a good job limiting the damage expect for one single minute where they collapsed giving up three straight goals. That sequence had both sides searching for the next big tally in order to grab the lead. Unable to get it done in regulation time, the Snipers had the last say by taking it in the shootout. Hadi Khanafer got his clubs lone tally while M.St-Laurent didn’t flinch denying three straight breakaways.

Armos hot streak catching attention

The Armos hot streak continues with another pair of wins, this time versus the Unknown. Both sides played a tight checking affair in the first contest with A.Malkounian deciding matters late in the game for the Armos. Despite the loss, the Unknown put up a good challenge, but started to tail off significantly in the ensuing match digging themselves in a deeper hole. They fell behind 3-0, and only got on board with five minutes left in the hockey game. A.Kizirian had made the score 3-0 before feeding his second in a yawning cage to solidify a fourth win in only two nights for the Armos. R.Ricaurte was a big help as well as the net minder stood tall allowing only two goals in four periods.

Horsemen cant seem to get a good start lately

It was kind of similar to what happened yesterday for the Horsemen. A bad start dropping the first game, but a solid finish to even the score. Tonight’s mini series versus the Club Ecole Orient had the same story line. After a narrow 3-2 victory favouring the Club Ecole Orient thanks to a pair of markers by H.Nasser, the Horsemen addressed their willingness to be a little more desperate if they plan on winning games. Clearly, that showed in the next encounter as they upped the ante dominating much of the pace. Still, the game was very close and work needed to be done if they planned on reaching the finish line. Things did start to shift in one direction when D.Greco and D.Sarno tallied only seconds apart. From-that point on, the Horsemen felt it was theirs for the taking, and eventually got there when S.Sidhom posted his second.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Robert Ricaurte of the Armos. Having two solid goaltenders is a luxury many teams don’t have. Tonight’s two wins can be attributed to Ricaurte, who limited the Unknown to only a pair of goals on 38 shots.
