Snipers sail past Unknown with ease

The Snipers did everything right in their two game sweep versus the Unknown. By playing defense first, playing hard in front of your own net and blocking that occasional shot here and there will eventually lead to your offense clicking. In both games, the Snipers dominated play with and without the ball. The team effort was led by five different goal scorers in the opening game with H.Atoui credited the winner followed with a similar display in the following match that still had five different players finding the back of the net with the exception of A.Sayed ,who posted back to back tallies in just over a minute. The Unknown started the night off with a short bench, and despite adding a couple of pieces in the second encounter, things didn’t get any better as they gave up a bunch of early goals only to find themselves in a very deep hole.

After slow start, SBS Trashers smother Horsemen to level mini series

All it took was for one very good period of hockey for both teams to walk out with a victory. The Horsemen did it in the first period of the opening  game while the SBS Trashers saved their best for last posting five tallies in the final frame of the night. P.Sidhom opened and closed the scoring for the Horsemen, and M.Vinciguerra earned a shutout after facing 16 shots.  In hopes of carrying their momentum , the Horsemen faced a very different Trashers team. The SBS Trashers were able to wrestle off any momentum-from the suddenly shaky Horsemen on a dominant performance. Although the game was very close after one period tied up at two goals a piece, the SBS Trashers were able to put it into gear and blow past their opponent by the final frame. E.Panzera and J.Scalia were arguably a major reason why the offense clicked as both players collected hat tricks.

Assadi Consulting inc erupt after tight battle with Armos

Playing with a lead often goes a long way when you have two structured teams going at it. The Armos found a way to strike first and in doing so forced the Assadi Consulting in to figure out a response. The problem with that quick push back only led to more odd man rushes-from the Armos, who benefited for a second time thanks to A.Berberyan widening the margin by two. Y.Gazuri did pull his club within one but that was all they managed against a tight knitted side. The second match had a completely different storyline. This time, the Assadi Consulting inc got on board first which now forced the Armos to take more risks. Unfortunately, things only  got worse rather than getting better. The Assadi Consulting inc made sure to bury their chances and capitalised enough times to deflate the game. M.Gagnon scored twice, and S.Fraga shared the win in net along with his counter part R.Ricaurte, who was stellar in the first encounter.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Eric Panzera of the SBS Trashers. With his club looking down and out, Panzera went on an absolute tear accumulating five points that included a hat trick.
