Flood gates open for Fatal Demons, Family unable to hang on

The Family was able to put it all out there early on having to deal with barely enough players in their line up. They had a really good first period grabbing a 2-0 early lead and were able to box out the Fatal Demons limiting any high risk chances towards their net minder. Then, fatigue kicked in and their night was over. The Fatal Demons took control-from that point on winning the next three frames by a decisive margin.  That’s the difference when one team rolls three lines versus a side with only one change. M.Mavroudis and S.Marricco, two natural goal scorers each tallied twice in the first match. The next encounter was expected to go in the same direction, this time with the Fatal Demons getting the better star. Again, Marricco buried a pair while K.Araujo opened and closed the scoring for the Fatal Demons.

Momentum takes a wild turn after slow start for Brewers

The game stared perfectly for the RCGT Knights roaring off to a 4-1 first period lead. They looked dominant and appeared ready to play up until the Brewers decided to get angry and take over with authority. Unable to hold onto a 4-1 lead, the RCGT Knights paid the price by taking their foot off the gas while handing the Brewers some golden power play opportunities. A.Papazian came up clutch twice nothing the equaliser along with the winner late in the game. This result was a classic case of momentum swinging in one direction. The Brewers continued-from where they left off, and the RCGT Knights never fully recovered, perhaps still thinking about what went wrong. It took just over ten minutes for the Brewers to put the game completely out of reach on a six goal tear. D.Verta had a monster game striking five times, and the Brewers ended the night earlier than usual due to the seven goal mercy rule.

Secretary of defense D.Charbonneau owns the court

He’s done it throughout most of his ball hockey career, D.Charbonneau has that ability to create offense-from the back end and tonight was just another display of what he’s’ capable of. Both teams faced off in an even playing field as both sides had to manage a very short bench. With that, the Pylons still dictated the pace storming out to a 5-1 first period lead. D.Charbonneau had already completed his hat trick before adding his fourth goal in the next frame. Carnage was hoping to adjust in the ensuing match but things didn’t really change much. Once again, the Pylons managed a better start with Charbonneau haunting his opponent on two more tallies. A.Toure was also very productive collecting a total of seven points. Carnage failed to take advantage of a depleted line up having only one spare themselves as their playoff hopes are fading away with only two weeks remaining.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Dan Charbonneau of the Pylons. It was just an incredible night for the defenseman. His ten points that included six goals definitely helped capture two important wins for a team aiming for a second place bye.
