Fragile Assadi Consulting inc turn in another clunker in loss to Altius
(9)Altius vs Assadi Consulting inc(4)
The Assadi consulting inc are fighting an uphill battle. When they lose by huge margins against teams that they are trying to compete with, they are taking themselves completely out of contention. That is exactly what has happened and continues to happen with this Assadi Consulting inc team, and tonight was no different. Nearly every single battle was lost which saw the Altius carry much of the play while creating plenty of odd man rushes. A key moment occurred when M.Arkalis scored a big shorthanded goal to provide a three goal margin. Much didn’t really change-from that point on as the Altius kept out working their opponent finding themselves with even more space simply because the Assadi Consulting inc were stuck cheating in order to catch up. That recipe sank them in a deeper hole with no life line left to save them. Clearly, they will need to sharpen up and figure out ways in order to adjust. There was no doubt the Altius were way better, using their fresh legs while continuously pushing the pace versus a more fatigued side. Apart-from his shorthanded tally, M.Arkalis did more than that by completing a hat trick.
Horsemen strike for 3 late goals to down RCGT Knights
(4)RCGT Knights vs Horsemen(7)
Despite F.Bchara rebounding the RCGT Knights on two third period goals to level the game, a costly penalty came to haunt them in the end. That was when the Horsemen’s’ captain V.Pandza snapped the tie followed with two insurance markers by M.Chartrand and T.Mader to cap off the game. Both sides had their moments and appeared to be evenly matched leaving only a late spurt making the difference. M.Chartarand and T.Karasek shared two goals a piece while M.Kardum and G.Spagnualo combined for six assists. The RCGT Knights felt they deserved better flooring a pretty decent line-up. Unfortunately, they fell behind at the worse possible time and were unable to recover with the clock winding down.
Collective effort powers Punishers past Left Wings
(5)Punishers vs Left Wings(3)
In the final minute of the first period, the Punishers broke the ice riffling two goals -from C.Stamadionis and C.Gingras. The Punishers were able to settle in and find their rhythm-from that point on despite allowing the Left Wings to pull within one on two occasions. Contributions came-from five different goal scorers with S.Racicot and B.Makris leading the charge offensively collecting three points each. It was M.Mavroudis’s late second period tally that perhaps determined this contest to favour the Punishers in the end. The power forward made the score 4-2 with only a period and change remaining in the game. N.Mackeen knew it was up to him to keep the Left Wings in check and did just that making the essential saves. N.Rompotinos would eventually put this one out of reach with the Punishers fifth goal of the game.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Manny Arkalis of the Altius. With goals in all three periods, M.Arkalis scored a back breaking shorty to tilt the game for his club.
