B.Sorice four early goals highlight blow out win for Team White

For about eleven minutes, Team Green couldn’t figure out what to do in order to slow down B.Sorice. The forward had his way and did pretty much what he wanted netting four goals during that span. Team Green were still within reach despite leaving him unguarded down only 5-3 by that point. However, that didn’t stop for his supporting cast to be involved as well. M.Lang took over-from there bagging a pair while C.Roberts and S.Fraga contributed with insurance markers. Giving up only four goals in this type of format says a lot about your defensive game and your goaltender. S.Pistone continues to deliver and has been consistent throughout the entire season as a blue chip net minder. Pistone was still relatively busy facing 37 shots, but that didn’t seem to affect someone always ready for the challenge.

Team Black unable to adjust against a ready Team Yellow

Manifesting chemistry isn’t something that comes right away. Team Black saw it first hand needing to replace a few missing regulars on Sunday night. Unable to get much going, they fell behind early and were forced to play catch up the rest of the way. Team Yellow however went about their ways doing everything close to right in what was a convincing and well deserved victory. T.Scarpelli did lead the way up front, but many chipped away getting a nice balanced production of offense. B.Mourad was well insulated allowing only three total goals, in which two came off the blade of R.Potenza. Overall, just a better night for one team that gelled-from the drop of the ball versus a side that didn’t have their game plan in order.

The SalumiVino player of the game goes to Tony Scarpelli of Team Yellow. By never giving up on the play, T.Scarepelli’s hard work often pays off. Tonight, he buried three for Team Yellow’s easy win over Team Black.

The slumping Team Red are left doing some soul searching after Sunday nights debacle versus Team Blue. Talk about a tough scenario where everything went completely wrong for one side.  Absolutely nothing worked, especially playing without the ball where Team Red seemed out numbered despite playing the game even strength. It felt like sinking into quick sand with one in sight to rescue you. The only good part of the night came at the final buzzer when the game was over. Clearly, they’ll  need to address what happened if they want to compete with a more respectable performance. While nothing good could be said for Team Red on this particular night, Team Blue have lots to feel good about. L.Bucci was an absolute machine sparking the games first three goals before capping it off with seven total tallies. E.Pouliot was further in line notching a pair while E.Colella controlled the back end resulting in six helpers.

The SalumiVino player of the game goes to Larry Bucci of Team Blue. After getting his club going posting an early hat trick, Bucci was just getting warmed up adding four more goals to finish with an impressive night.
