RCGT Knights return favour in split with Armos

The RCGT Knights were keen on delivering a response. After a lopsided setback to the Armos, the RCGT Knights were able to turn the tables immediately in the second encounter. Whether it was the Armos being a little to complacent or that the RCGT Knights were better prepared, neither game was ever close. Even though the score in the second match suggests for a close encounter, the Armos scored three out of their four goals a little to late. F.Vitoratos was no doubt heavily involved as the forward sparked his side bagging two quick goals before adding three more points where he eventually completed his hat trick. Surely the RCGT Knights would have preferred a clean six points since they are chasing that last playoff spot, but this result still keeps them in the hunt despite a difficult challenge ahead of them.

F.BcHara snaps late tie, Brewers continue a solid run defeating the Fatal Demons both times

The Brewers chose not to worry about how they almost blew a two goal lead in the final frame. Instead, they celebrated by getting the last word thanks to F.BcHara breaking a 2-2 tie with only two minutes left in the game. The Brewers looked fine in the first period, but didn’t appear to be ready after that as they nearly let this one slip away. Things didn’t change much in the next encounter either with a similar situation occurring. Again, the Brewers jumped off to a better start and led 3-1 at one point up until the Fatal Demons responded to even the score. It was only moments after that when the Brewers captain shifted the game in their favour. A.Lanni, already with a pair of markers, posted back to back tallies in a very short span to put his club back in the drives seat. D.Verta was there to compliment his captain by setting him up both times while finishing with four points en route to a 7-4 victory. The Fatal Demons didn’t quite get the results they wanted, but played well overall with many key components out of the line up.

Armos get the result they wanted against undermanned Assadi Consulting inc

The Assadi Consulting inc may have been only five players, but the Armos understood anyway how difficult it was going to be. The one important thing that they did was to play in front the entire time. If the Assadi Consulting inc were to mange to play with the lead, things could have turned out very differently when you have M.DoCouto and N.Kokovidis logging a ton of minutes on the back end. Instead, the Armos made it a point to strike first which gave them some breathing room going up against a short bench. After collecting a 3-1 win, the Armos had to settle for a draw in the second match which was more than enough by then to secure a playoff spot. T.Bergomi scored the lone shootout goal for the Armos as did N.Kokovidis for the Assadi Consulting inc. Its always nice when your net minder contributes in more than one way. While P.Assadi was able to make a bunch of key saves, the goaltender was able to collect a pair of assists as well.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Frank Vitoratos. After suffering a lopsided defeat, F.Vitoratos was there to get the RCGT Knights back on track on a big performance collecting five points that included a hat trick.
