The Generals fail to fight off one more period as the Road Runners rally to take the match. Down by two, the Road Runners raised their game and got goals from M.Dube and G.Gelinas to force the match into extra time. After a scoreless overtime period, the same player who evened the score decided the out come as well as G.Gelinas was the lone shoot out scorer for both sides.

While the Punishers hoped to defeat a team like Red Lite, the nine time national champions simply wouldn’t allow it. Y.Labonte, Mathieu Duguay and S.Ghilarducci all scored to make the score 3-0 before F.Lanctot finally got to M.Moisseron by the mid way point of the third period. N.Vargas-Dias regained a three goal cushion moments later capping off what was a well earned win.
(3)Les Gouverneurs vs Royal Flush(6)
Better prepared, the Royal Flush built a 3-0 first period lead while eventually doubling up their opponents 6-3.G.Barrera was heavily responsible for that surge of first period offence as the skilled forward was able to set up three different teammates. Each side eventually traded a second period tally and two third period markers that saw P.Daoust bag his second for Les Gouverneurs.

J.Mandracchia had two goals and one assist as the Black Knights down Les Bandits 4-3 to end off the night. The young talent went to work in both the first and third periods where he accumulated his three points that included a feed on M.Lastoria’s third period tally. The Black Knights had the better start jumping off to a 2-0 first period lead before dropping the second frame by one and eventually exchanging a pair of third period markers to take the match.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Jonathan Mandracchia of the Black Knights. Out of his clubs four goals, Jonathan Mandracchia had a three point night that included the winner to defeat Les Bandits de la Rive Sud.
