(6)Dragons vs Wocafloka(4)
The Dragons are showing that they can surprise anyone on any given night. After a good start to the game, the Dragons continued on and finished very strong with three third period markers to defeat Wocafloka. G.DeMarinis had a multi goal game and S.Koulieris tallied late in the third period for the game winning goal. As for Wocafloka, L.Bourgaunt finished off strong netting two third period tallies.
(3)Armada vs Le Royal(9)
Le Royal just showed most people when they are a full line up, what a dangerous squad they can be. It’s not easy scoring plenty versus Armada but tonight they struggled allowing too many goals over the course of the game. S.Lajeunesse took charge riffling a hat trick and M.DoCouto along with M-A Martineau played a significant role as well by setting up four markers each.
(5)Bramabulls vs Les Bananes(3)
A deep bench came to the rescue for A.DiPerna and the Bramabulls as they rallied with four third period goals to take the contest. That momentum began when P.Rivera tallied early in the third frame followed with three late goals that included M.Argiris’s second of the night. Les Bananes started off better and were clearly the better of both sides building a 3-0 lead, especially with the help of K.Arsenault who participated in all three goals until things fell apart.
(1)Park Avenue vs Le Royal(4)
F.Anderson caps off a perfect double header night for Le Royal. Despite playing an hour earlier, Le Royal found their legs in the final frame bagging three unanswered goals. F.Anderson tallied twice extending the lead by two and eventually by three just moments later. M.Gagnon just finished playing his second game in three hours and the net minder did a fine job allowing only a total of four goals.
The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Matthew DoCouto of Le Royal. The lanky defenseman controlled the back end and was a big reason why Le Royal jumped to a great start to their game.
