Anytime two teams are battling for first place, the result tends to be close but not in this case as the H.C Mutts showed that they mean serious business. M.Maggiore continues scoring by striking three times for a hat trick and B.Sansotta made sure to put a seal to the game when he capped of the night with two late tallies. Bijoux did have D.Dias notch both goals as the only player to figure out J.Capaldo.
(5)Spitfires vs Les Bakaloo(4)
As expected, a close result was going to decide the outcome of this battle. Each side sit in the middle of the pack and with only one goal deciding the winner, the Spitfires got the slight edge over their opponents. G.Jerjian was vital for the win scoring twice in the opening frame and A.Tahejian contributed as well by feeding two different teammates. Les Bakaloo saw four different goal scorers find the back of the net but their captain M-A Gravel did have the most points finishing with one goal and two helpers.
(3)Red Nose vs 1 Timer(2)
Despite losing for a second straight week, the 1 Timer aren't too rattled after challenging a dangerous hockey team. If he's not putting up a bunch of points, N.Delia will find a way to get involved as the sniper scored once with the most important tally of the contest. His brother G.Delia set up two out of his clubs three goals and J-P Gagnon was good enough in nets allowing only two tallies.
(4)Screeching Eagles vs French Kiss Mafia(5)
The French Kiss Mafia scored once short handed and twice on the power play to defeat the Screeching Eagles 5-4 on Sunday night. P.Koutsogiannopoulos posted his second of the game playing with a man down to even the score at three goals a piece and M.Revelakis cashed in twice as well that included the game winning tally. The Screeching Eagles did have the better start to the match building a 3-2 first period lead and saw one of their better players in D.Ruiz deliver with a total of four points.
(7)Jokers vs The Bulls(2)
From start to finish, C.Pare took the bulls by their horns. With goals in every period the number 77 finished with an impressive four goal game. Despite the loss, the Bulls weren't too happy allowing two short handed tallies. M.Gagnon got credited the game winner and S.Caissy had solid game scoring once while adding two helpers.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Michael Maggiore. The H.C Mutts player has been riding a hot hand and tonight was just proof of it as he riffled four out of his clubs eight goals to defeat Bijoux.
