J.Mandracchia adds a spark as the D-Blocks edge Armada. With an assist on A.Ponzo’s second period goal, J.Mandracchia pounced when it mattered the most adding two third period tallies separating his club from Armada. The Captain A.Facciabene also got on board with a goal while N.Rubbo, M.Wolfe and A.Neven all found the back of the net for Armada.
(3)Le Royal vs Wocafloka(2)
More and more as the season moves on, Le Royal are starting to remind everyone why they won last seasons championship. With the power play working the way it does, Le Royal capitalised twice on three chances that saw M.DoCouto bury one while P.Spadafora tallied the other. Apart from his power play goal, P.Spadafora was also able to net the game winner by the 9:30 minute mark of the third period. Despite the loss, Wocafloka also saw their five man unit work as Paolino.Cardillo and F.Remon each scored to beat M.Gagnon.
(2)Les Bananes vs Wocafloka(6)
After coming off a difficult loss to Le Royal, Wocafloka continued to dominate with their special teams to defeat Les Bananes. Three different players converted on the power play and F.Remon was able to have a multi goal game that saw him close the deal in a yawning cage. For over two periods, C.Stavriadis was perfect between the pipes until allowing F.Laurin and the captain S.Euchi to beat him.
(1)Dragons vs Park Avenue(3)
The Dragons nearly had the match continue into overtime until Jason.Rochon changed all that with less than three minutes remaining. Not once but twice the right handed sniper solved S.Morante with back to back tallies to finish his night with an impressive three point performance. The Dragons got on the board first with a power play marker before giving up three straight tallies. After playing earlier in the E division, P.Turturici kept his focus and did an excellent job to earn the win in nets for the Park Avenue.
(6)Les Bananes vs Armada(5) O.T
Too many penalties hurt Armada as Les Bananes rally to capture the win. The power play went to work in the third period where the captain S.Euchi and K.Arsenault each scored their second of the game, both coming on the five man unit. That sequence forced the sudden death period and within only 45 seconds, F.Laurin capped off the night for everyone. K.Arsenault has been a constant force all season long for Les Bananes and tonight wasn’t any different as the high energy forward had another stellar performance with five points.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Kevin Arsenault of Les Bananes. Difficult to contain, the up and coming star scored twice and added three assists to defeat Armada.
