(7)Traction T/W vs Kingfish(6)
Despite gaining some momentum by the second period, the Kingfish fall anyway to the Traction T/W. With the game deadlocked at four goals a piece, the Traction T/W took over getting early third period goals which were barely enough for a positive result. Out of their seven goals scored, only three players found the back of the net. M.Cote had the most for a hat trick and S.Deschatelets along with his captain A.Piche chipped in with a pair each. As for the Kingfish, K.Kuczmarski was definitely a force for his club finishing with three goals and one assist.
(5)Traction T/W vs Blazotron(5) S.O
With no time to rest, the Traction T/W claims a point after settling for a draw. M.Cote continued his progress with another key performance netting two important third period goals to help force the extra time. J.St-Louis helped set up his teammate on both occasions while also assisting on Samuel.Courcelles second period tally. Each side tallied once each in the shootout that saw S.Deschatelets of the Traction T/W get the better of P.Georges while F.Seguin was able to figure out J-P Piche.
(2)Blazers vs Team Finland(1)
For only a second time in eleven games Team Finland taste defeat. The Blazers did an excellent job limiting a power house offence to only one goal. S.Gagnon was brilliant in nets making key saves ultimately allowing only V.Crivello to beat him. Each side tallied only in the second period that saw the captain S.Caissy and D.Cucinotta cash in for the Blazers.
The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Martin Cote of the Traction T/W. Playing in back to back games, Martin Cote finished his night with a total of five goals.
