In what was a must win for Hellas ends up in a complete disaster. Needing a win in hopes of staying alive for a playoff spot, Hellas weren’t able to compete at the level of the Dark Warriors. E.Girouard completed his hat trick very early in the second period before adding a fourth tally, D.Hill along with J.Russo notched a pair each and E.Mavroudis had a five point night that included four helpers. P.Turturici allowed only two goals, both coming from the very same P.Elizardo.

The Spartans needed to kill 32 seconds for a regulation win but instead they had to capture it in a shootout. Everything went perfect for C.Stavriadis up until the moment when K.Arsenault solved him to force the extra time. The way both sides played each other came to no surprise that this contest went the ultimate distance. On three attempts the Smackdaddys weren’t able to crack C.Stavriadis but M.Arkalis did have some success as the lone shootout out scorer for the Spartans.
(1)Hellenic Republic Parc-Ex vs Dark Warriors(5)
It was a perfect two for two night for P.Turturici and the Dark Warriors. After combining for a total of 16 goals in only two games, the Dark Warriors hope to carry some of that offence versus the Slayers in next weeks quarter-final match up. For a second straight match, E.Girouard tallied the most for his club beating P.Abbiasini on two occasions while P.Turturici was beaten only three times in two games.
(2)Smackdaddys vs Slayers(1)
A good start to the game led to good things for the Smackdaddys as they end their season on a good note. A.Romano and B.Sansotta got on the board in the opening period and for the duration of the game that was just enough to get by the Slayers. J.Del Torto did cut the lead in half by the 4:20 minute mark of the second frame leaving plenty of time for an equaliser but as time went on, S.Morante stood his ground denying everything his way.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Eric Girouard of the Dark Warriors. The veteran sniper whaled away combining for six goals in two games.

The regular season just came to an end that saw the Bramabulls capture first place and a direct pass to the semi-finals. The other quarter-final match ups are as follows:
