(6)HC Mutts vs Red Nose(1)
The HC Mutts look to carry this kind of momentum in the playoffs after defeating a struggling Red Nose team. Already up 4-0 after one period, the HC Mutts controlled the pace and added two more markers which nearly led to J.Capaldo earning a shutout. The solid net minder was just 45 seconds away from his perfect game until M.Grenier was able to spoil the moment. Balance is a key factor to success and the HC Mutts are glad to know that they can rely on many different players to find the back of the net just like in tonight’s game where nobody tallied more than once.
(7)Screeching Eagles vs Jokers(6)
It took plenty of goals but the Screeching Eagles did get the job done. What made this result impressive was that the Screeching Eagles depended on nobody from their bench as they had no changes. C.Gingras had the luxury of playing a full 45 minute game and was able to post up exceptional numbers finishing with two goals and four assists. D.Ruiz also contributed bagging a hat trick along with a helper. As for the Jokers, M.Gagnon once more led the way netting three goals while his teammate C.Desmarais faired well with a pair of tallies.
(1)French Kiss Mafia vs Red Nose(10)
From one extreme to the other the Red Nose bounce back after suffering a 6-1 defeat versus the HC Mutts. G.Delia used his vision by setting up half of his teams goals and his brother N.Delia was responsible for making the score 5-0 right after completing his hat trick. The French Kiss Mafia didn’t have there best game by striking only once and allowing two short handed markers.
(2)Mighty Kings vs Bijoux(10)
The Mighty Kings held in there for half the game until Bijoux decided to pull away. Surprisingly enough, only one player converted twice out of the tens goals scored. It was the captain K.Pimentel striking on two occasions for his club that included the first tally of the match. Bijoux went on a short sequence where they put together two quick short handed goals while adding a power play marker.
(5)1 Timer vs Spitfires(4)
P-A Surprenant tallied twice and M.Lamarche got credited the winner as the 1 Timer seal second spot of the division. Apart from an extra second period goal by the 1 Timer, this contest was evenly matched. The Spitfires put up a good fight getting two goal games from both A.Papazian and A.Minassian only to fall short in the end.
(0)Mighty Kings vs Untouchables(12)
The Untouchables didn’t have any sort of challenge as they power the Mighty Kings rather easily. In the first period alone, M.Dubuc was a force netting four tallies while S.Trudel brought his game to another level finishing with eight points that included a hat trick. He didn’t have one of his busiest games but A.Vivas was glad to earning the shutout.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Carl Gingras of the Screeching Eagles. With no substitutions to their bench, Carl Gingras collected six out of seven points in a tight 7-6 win over the Jokers.

With the first six place teams waiting for the quarter final round, next weeks battle will involve positions 7 vs 10 while 8 takes on 9th spot.
