(9)Royals vs Primetime(5)
As difficult as it was the Royals made sure not to let this game slip away. Despite what the score looks like the Royals needed to add three empty net goals to make sure that they clinched a semi final spot. B.Bohemier opened the scoring and was able to add three more points for the Royals while V.Grise-Barnabe had the most tallies finishing with a hat trick.
(5)Zone Grise vs Average Joes(3)
The power play went to work for both sides but it was Zone Grise’s timely goals that made the difference in the outcome. Y.DeCesare and L.Larocque benefited on the power play netting a third period goal each which ultimately eliminated the Average Joes from the playoffs. Apart from his power play goal, L.Larocque scored a key short handed marker cracking a 1-1 second period tie.
(2)Venom vs Tyrants(9)
Bad luck for Venom ends up favouring the Tyrants as they pass through to the next round. M.Trivisonno goal tends and captains his team but wasn’t able to continue due to an unfortunate injury. The Tyrants were already up 3-2 at point and made sure to take total advantage of the situation in which they did by bagging goal after goal. A.St-Laurent had a big game netting a hat trick and M.Menassa followed next in line posting up two markers.
(4)The Tropics vs Brewers(3)
Three power play goals from the Brewers weren’t enough as the Tropics edge their veteran opponents. The Tropics overcame a two goal deficit netting three second period unanswered tallies that saw S.Wilcox capitalise on two occasions. What was surely headed for overtime ended just prior to the buzzer where J.Crivello came up huge for the Tropics handing the Brewers a devastating loss.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Joseph Crivello of the Tropics. With barely any time left in the game, Joseph Crivello buried the game winning goal in a tight 4-3 win over the Brewers.

The semi finals will feature the top seeded Royals versus the Tyrants who have been hot as of late while Zone Grise will battle against a resilient Tropics squad.

(4)Red Nose vs Dream Team(5)
A great start to the match benefits the Dream Team as they secure top spot of the division and direct pass to the semi finals. Y.St-Georges cashed in twice in the opening frame to help put the Dream Team up comfortably 4-0 and M.Padula had an identical performance, also scoring twice that included the game winner. Although it came as a win, the Dream Team nearly let the match slip away as Red Nose pushed back only to fall short in the end. It came in a losing cause but M.Latreille was a force out there notching two goals and a helper.
(8)Punishers vs Money Shot(5)
Very difficult to contain, P.Karvouriaris dominated the game from start to finish. With points in every frame, the crafty centre man caused plenty of havoc for the Money Shot by posting up four goals and two assists. The Money Shot did have control of the match for two periods where they led 5-3 but weren’t able to hold up for one more frame.
(12)Red Nose vs ITT(2)
With no changes to their bench, ITT tried to defend and hoped for the best. They did manage to hang in there for one period but as time went on the flood gates started to open for the Red Nose. L-P Simard had a stretch of five points in the second period alone before finishing is game with seven points and M.Latreille made his presence known as well by posting up a total of six points.
(4)Hellfish vs Money Shot(7)
The Money Shot struck seven times but had only two players find the back of the net. T.Oliveira and M.Alfieri took care of the goal scoring department enabling the Money Shot to capture a win after dropping an 8-5 loss earlier on to the Punishers. T.Oliveira had the most tallies bagging four goals while M.Alfieri handled the balance completing a hat trick.
(5)TANK vs Horsemen(8)
Both sides entered the night with a chance to capture second place. The Horsemen put together two very solid periods and led 7-1 at one point until Tank tried to make it somewhat respectable. V.Pandza was a presence out there and did a fine job converting on three occasions while setting up his captain P.Sidhom. The usual suspects did their part for Tank where the leader of his club N.Gilbert and B.Deslauriers each had two goals a piece.

The Boston Pizza player of the night goes to Peter Karvouriaris of the Punishers. His four goals and two assists helped his club defeat the Money Shot 8-5.

The Dream Team will patiently wait as they clinched a direst pass to the semi finals for finishing in first place. The first round match ups are as follows:
