(5)Brewers vs Monsters(3)
A collective team effort led to a good start for the Brewers as they defeat the Monsters 5-3 on Wednesday night. The Brewers powered three straight goals before conceding their first by the mid may mark of the game. E.Pellerin collected three big points that included the winner while feeding T.Fernando on two occasions. Despite the loss, P.Klitirinos had a strong finish for the Monsters posting two power play goals.
(5)Hellfish vs Wheeling Nailers(1)
They didn’t have the start they wanted, but as time went on, the Wheeling Nailors tweaked their game to keep it respectable. New to the league, the Wheeling Nailors got a sense of what to expect as of the second period where they won the frame 1-0 on a goal from R.Shadeed. The Hellfish caught their opponents off guard building a 4-0 first period lead that saw R.Kelendji strike twice to beat A.Bergamin. F.Vigliotti earned the win in nets after facing just over 15 shots.
(6)Golden Shaft vs Acolytes(0)
Y.St-Georges scored two goals, A.Etesonne pushed away 22 shots, and the Golden Shaft cruised for an easy 6-0 win. For three straight periods, the Golden Shaft produced offence and defended well not giving the Acolytes enough time to make a move. It’s still early in the season but the Golden Shaft look solid already as the hope to challenge for one of the top seeds by the end of the season.
(6)Red Wings vs Money Shot(4)
As much as the Money Shot kept it close all game long, the Red Wings were able to hold on to a 6-4 victory. On many occasions the Money Shot reduced the margin to only one goal but couldn’t even the score as the Red Wings kept increasing the lead by two. A.Zarzour was involved in half of his teams goals bagging a hat trick while his captain G.Delia had a solid night converting twice along with a pair of feeds .As for the Money Shot, J.Kilronomos scored twice while J.Tortorici finished with three points.
(3)Horsemen vs 23rd Hour(5)
With a chance to make the score 3-0, the Horsemen gave up a short handed goal instead never to recover. P.Salvo netted that big tally cutting the lead in half which led to a multiple of third period back breaking goals for the 23rd Hour. J.Girosan tied the game with only two minutes remaining, and M.El-Aintabli crushed his opponent’s just moments later giving the 23rd Hour their first lead of the night. Both those goals came with the help of Salvo who finished with a clutch three point performance.
(1)Chaos vs NWV(8)
M.St-Laurent and Y.Mouchaca each scored twice in a lopsided 8-1 victory over Chaos. Clearly the stronger of both sides, the NWV controlled the pace and never found themselves in any danger posting at least two goals in every frame. There only let down occurred on their own power play where M.D’Alessandro scored short handed to beat B.Madonis for a rare time.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Pat Salvo of the 23rd Hour. Salvo scored short handed to put his club back in the game and assisted twice including one on the equaliser and the other on the game winning tally as of the 13 minute mark of the final frame.
