(2)A-Team vs Billionaires(8)
Things are slowly starting to gel for the Billionaires. They didn’t have a great start to the season, but time will show that they will only get better. After dropping a shootout loss that could have gone either way only a week ago, the young squad put it all behind them with a convincing 8-2 result over the A-Team. Using their speed and grit, the Billionaires spread out most of their offence and got two goals games from J.Lemme and B.Marsillo, who was also able to add three helpers to his point total.
(9)Wocafloka vs French Connection(2)
Anyway you crunch it, this was simply an ugly loss for the French Connection. Although they put up a good challenge for half the game, the division leaders couldn’t be contained as the game went on. Wocafloka struck three times with the man advantage, and got a three goal game from one of their better snipers M.Latreille. E.Brady and Y.Gazura each scored twice helping the undefeated club to their sixth win in six games.
(5)Tutto Fumo vs Carnage(3)
As most likely expected, this contest was going to have its moments. Each side had their turn sitting in the penalty box which caused plenty of different situations on the court. Both clubs scored twice with the man advantage, but it was J.DeSua’s third period short handed goal that deflated any hopes for Carnage. Tutto Fumo took control of the match early, and went up 3-0 before giving up their first goal of the night. Apart from his short handed marker, J.DeSua had a multi goal game for Tutto Fumo while A.Passarelli did the same for Carnage.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Freddy Vigliotti of Tutto Fumo. The established goaltender made the difference making key saves early on to enable his club to get the slight edge over Carnage.
