It doesn’t seem like anything can be done to slow down C.Gagnon. The Dragons found this out after the number 28 of the Punishers scored in every period to help lead his team to another victory. While he isn’t the only that can be counted on, P.Karvouriaris demonstrates plenty of consistency as well and tonight it showed in the first period alone where he bagged two goals for a 3-0 lead. The Punishers got the start they wanted, and played it to their pace knowing that they had a second game only an hour later versus the Dream Team.

Not much changed from their earlier game as the Punishers add seven more goals to complete a perfect double header night. Once again, they grabbed a 3-0 lead that saw C.Stamadianos take the torch by earning two goals. P.Karvouriaris continued where he left off adding another pair of tallies which saw T.Gagnon do the same. It’s often not easy for net minders to play twice in three hours, but despite the difficult challenge, veteran F.Vigliotti was splendid in nets allowing only three goals in two games.
(3)Tropics vs Infiniti/Park Avenue(2)
They may have let this one slip away but lots of credit to the Tropics for getting it done. With a golden chance to grab a 3-2 third lead, the Infiniti/Park Avenue dropped the ball by allowing an early short handed marker. A.DeLuca benefited from the opportunity after collecting two feeds on V.Crivello and S.Wilcox’s first period goals. The Tropics jumped off to a better start in the match, and got good goaltending from J.DeLuca who pushed away 21 of 23 shots.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Freddy Vigliotti of the Punishers. Vigliotti captured back to back wins in a short period of time by allowing a total of only three goals on 41 shots.
