(7)Bolts vs Brewers(3) Game 1
The Bolts got their offence going notching seven goals in a 7-3 rout of the Brewers. A.Sarrigiannis scored early on in both the first and second periods as the only multi goal scorer of the contest. J.Pimentel set up three different teammates. The Brewers battled back from a 3-0 deficit with back to back tallies but that was as close as it got for the veteran side. With the game slipping away, the Brewers focused on what was ahead of them to try and bounce back into the series.
(5)Brewers vs Bolts(5) Game 2
Less than three minutes was all the Brewers needed to force a third and deciding game. The Brewers needed to kill off the final three minutes of the hockey game in order to force game three, instead a late tally by J.Pereira forced his opponents to get that extra goal. The Bolts needed two power play goals and a big shorthanded marker by M.Gagnon in order to get the job done. With everyone pulling their weight, the Bolts will need to carry their good habits for one more round to achieve their final mission.

(3)Money Shot vs Horsemen(4) Game 1
The Horsemen scored four unanswered goals en route to a close 4-3 win to open up the series. That sequence happened all in the second period in the span of nine minutes. Four different players struck to find the back of the net. T.Tsarouhas may have netted the biggest one of all holding up as the winner. The Horsemen led 4-1 at that point and despite giving up the next two tallies, the end score was all that mattered for the men in blue.
(1)Horsemen vs Money Shot(2) Game 2
Thanks to both goals by R.Montinaro, the Money Shot gave themselves a chance to take the series. One of his tallies couldn’t have come at better time. Montinaro saved the Money Shot’s season by netting a very late goal to avoid the draw, which would have favoured the Horsemen. After facing 24 shots, P.Delli Colli was also another key piece to the puzzle as the net minder allowed all but one goal. With both games being this close, game three was surely expected to be the same.
(2)Money Shot vs Horsemen(1) O.T Game 3
Whether it would have been in a shootout, overtime or late in the game, one side was going to prevail by a very close margin. Destiny landed the Money Shots way as an overtime goal by B.Travisano clinched the series and a spot to the finals. Each side were very deserving, but with room for only one winner, the Money Shot found a way to get it done. For a second straight game, P.Delli Colli held the fort in nets allowing only one goal.

This result sets the stage for a great final to come. While logic will suggest that the top two seeds meet in the final, it often seems to be rare when that combination happens, especially when it involves twelve teams. Nevertheless, each side will go at it on Wednesday night to see who will be the real champs.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Ricky Montinaro of the Money Shot. If not for his pair of clutch goals, the Money Shot would have had an early exit.
