M-A Beaumelle turns heads with impressive six goal performance

Scoring six goals in any hockey game is pretty rare, but M-A Beaumelle did the unthinkable for the Bulldogs on Wednesday night. You know you’re a natural goal scorer when you can find the back of the net in any circumstance. The talented forward scored a power play goal, a shorthanded marker and four even strength goals while feeding L.Allard for a 2-0 lead. At no point did Les Raymonds seem to be in the game. The back breaker occurred by the mid way point of the match where Beaumelle scored on Les Raymonds power play for a 3-1 lead. M.Turgeon started the night strong with three helpers and W.Goyer had a near perfect night allowing only one goal.

Bolts walk away with close 5-4 win over Money Shot

Every time the Money Shot fought hard to get back in the game, the Bolts kept on striking. The Bolts didn’t have an easy night but put themselves in control of the situation by never giving up their lead. Five different goal scorers contributed in the win. It’s not often that an empty net goal gets credited as the winner but J.Chakik can add it to his personal stats. Both sides played an intense brand of hockey that needed to go down to the wire. The difference ultimately occurred in the second period where the Bolts won the frame 2-0 with goals from A.Melo and M.Baccari.

Horsemen earn 6-4 win to start season strong

The Horsemen weren’t phased at all after finding themselves down 2-0.After a scoreless opening frame, the orange balls started to go in. Led by their captain, T.Zermalias contributed with two goals as the only multi goal scorer for both sides. The match shifted into one direction as of the early stages of the third period when J.Argyropoulos scored on the power play for a 5-2 lead. Deadlast didn’t help their cause trying to kill the games only three penalties. Without their leader in the lineup, C.Zafiropoulos will have the chance to analyze from a coaches point of view and find the necessary adjustments for a more promising display.

Run n gun style favors Acolytes

It’s one of those games that the net minders hope to forget quickly. While each side focused on scoring goals, both goaltenders were left to dry. B.Palfalvi faced plenty of shots and scoring chances that had him and his defense scratching their heads. The same was to be said for G.Langelier who allowed six goals on 28 shots. But it was the final result that mattered in the end as the Acolytes found a way to get the extra goals. S.Leblanc led the way bagging four tallies while M.Patry earned six points that included two goals. The major problem that Primetime had with this result was that they let a 4-1 first period lead slip away.

HC Inter make immediate impact, rout NWV 6-1

Once F.Logen scored late in the first period with the man advantage, the HC Inter only got better as the game went on. M.Hebert added fuel to the fire by igniting back to back goals right before D.Pasquini made the score 4-0 with one period to go. HC Inter dominated in every aspect of the game winning the power play battle with two markers. The only thing that was taken from a perfect night was when G.Santacroce scored fairly late to take J.Pietroniro’s shutout away. That tally left just over three minutes in the game where the net minder faced a total of 24 shots.

Monsters roll past Pendelis to start season on right root

P.Klitirinos and J.Marchica each scored twice as the Monsters cruised their way to a 5-1 win over Pendelis. Klitirinos used a back breaking shorthanded marker in the first period to put his opponents on their heels. J.Liopoulos kept the Monsters in the game most of the way, stopping 23 of 24 shots that saw D.Mansour as the only goal scorer for Pendelis. He didn’t score but R.Grisales helped make three goals happen with perfect feeds. It’s not the ideal start to the season, but T.Daoud has more than enough time to get his troops on the same page.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marc-Antoine Beaumelle of the Bulldogs. Anytime someone scores six goals in one game, will surely without a doubt earn the player of the night.
