Big Communists third period fuels victory over Bulls
With only eight players dressed, the Communists made valuable use of a dominant third period to get the better of the Bramabulls. J.Provost-Blais gave a huge advantage after bagging his second on the power play for a 4-1 lead. The Communists wisely used the clock in their favor to keep the game under control. P.Provost-Jarry was sharp limiting a potent offence to only a pair of goals. This was a first of two games of a double header night for the Bramabulls, who hoped to avoid going empty handed.

Ultimate Hockey keep getting hot, blank top seeded team
The Ultimate Hockey are starting to rise up as a serious contender by the way they’ve been performing as of late. Tonight was just another example of how difficult they can be to play against.VE-TANK occupied top seed primarily because they have no issue scoring goals. But tonight they hit a wall. With the help of S.Rivest and a hungry for-check, the Ultimate Hockey frustrated many from the other side. A.Paul opened the scoring on the power and H.Merone doubled the lead giving his a club a two goal cushion after eleven minutes into the hockey game. The last goal of the match came late in the second period courtesy of G.Aime. This is a second straight loss for a team that has only three in ten games.
(2)Bramabulls vs Smackdaddys(6)
M.Destounis four goal game leads Smackdaddys into first place
M.Destounis continued his scoring splurge with four goals to help the Smackdaddys leap passed VE-TANK for top spot of the division. Destounis wasted no time scoring right away while adding his second by the end of the first period. The Smackdaddys only got better from there on winning the second period 4-1.P-A Surprenant and F.Remon each scored right before M.Destounis capped it off with two more tallies. F.Remon had a strong night collecting four points. It’s a night that A.DiPerna and the Bramabulls need to put behind them and only look forward to try and get back on track.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Marino Destounis of the Smackdaddys. The lanky forward made it look easy once more by potting four goals in a big 6-2 win.
