Y.Leroux hat trick powers Werewolves past Fat Roy

Y.Leroux netted a hat trick, N.Delia picked up a pair as the Werewolves sparked some life to their season, at least for now. The Werewolves had some of their main guns show up to play with four player’s producing plenty of points. J.Cool set up four markers while G.Delia made three goals happen. Each side didn’t have their full roster which made the playing field even .The pivotal point of the game occurred by the five minute mark of the third period when Y.Leroux posted two quick goals to put the game out of reach. It may still be wishful thinking, but the Werewolves are still not technically out.

Les Coqs keep riding hot hand

Ten games in, and Les Coqs can start forgetting about their sluggish 0-4 start to their season. With the help of two first period goals by D.Provost-Jarry and M.Goudreau, the men in red had the luxury of dictating the pace to their liking. As much as that lead was good, the Bramabaulls eventually erased it as the game went on. F.Venditti and S.Mirolla each scored on the power play with half a period left in the match. Unable to carry that momentum, the Bramabulls found themselves playing shorthanded right after tying the game. That golden opportunity for Les Coqs translated into a goal. F-A Monette benefited with feeds from M.DoCouto and M.Turgeon, and Les Coqs were able to protect it to collect a third straight win.

Captain clutch P.Santullo leads the way in feature match up

P.Santullo and the Fatal Demons dealt with an ugly loss only one week ago, but found a way to digest it with a full out effort versus the Wocafloka. Captains usually help get their clubs back on track and tonight P.Santullo did just that with two key goals. The long time leader opened the scoring only 90 seconds in while saving his best for last with the games winning goal. In addition, S.Koulieris collected one of many multi goal games to his collection. Despite being down by a pair, the Wocafloka bounced back to even the score only to give it up minutes later. From one leader to another, J-M Loiseau did his part in the loss bagging two goals. This was an anticipated battle for the top two seeds. With this win, the Fatal Demons join Wocafloka for first place with 20 points.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Yan Leroux of the Werewolves. His three goals keep the Werewolves hopes alive for a possible playoff spot.
