Tuesday August 23(Finals)
(1)Smackdaddys vs Ultimate Hockey(5) Game 1
Ultimate Hockey score 4 in third, take series lead
Throughout the week leading up to the final, both teams anxiously waited for the moment to see who would prevail in the D Tuesday night division. In their recent games, the Ultimate Hockey made sure to have every single player dressed for the occasions. And with that, the results were inevitable. The fresher bench used their legs to score four third period goals to pull away for good. In that span, P.Plaisir, G.Pierre, M.Metivier all scored right before O.Achile sealed the fate with a late power play marker. With that sequence helping down the stretch, the Ultimate Hockey felt confident going into game two with the championship on the line.
(4)Ultimate Hockey vs Smackdaddys(3) Game 2
Ultimate Hockey lay the Smack down, winners of D Tuesday division
With this result, the D Tuesday division is officially over and Reginald Morne along with many contributors had plenty to celebrate on Tuesday night. One theme that emerged in this success was how dedicated the Ultimate Hockey really were. Rolling there three lines and using their explosive speed, the Smackdaddys felt like they were trapped in quick sand. Despite giving up the games opening goal, the Ultimate Hockey responded a lot stronger bagging four straight with efforts from all different players. M.Metivier and A.Bein-Aime scored only two minutes apart and the Ultimate Hockey carried a 4-1 lead. The Smackdaddys didn’t throw the towel just yet. The next two tallies belonged to the trailing side and with over a period remaining, this game was still up for grabs. However, despite the remaining minutes, this night belonged to only one club. The Ultimate Hockey made sure to play the clock to their advantage while getting the necessary saves by M.Dorismond, who had to face his fair shots and chances in two games. In the end, the deserving squad prevailed to capture the title. The Ultimate Hockey, after tying the VE-TANK in game one of their semi finals, took the second game with a convincing 6-0 score which was similar to what they did in the opening game of the final with a 5-1 result. On behalf of Hockeyballe.com, congratulations go out to Reginald Morne and the rest of the Ultimate Hockey for getting it done.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes out to the captain. Reginald Morne had to manage plenty of players forcing him to make many key decisions in order to maximize the right results.
