(3) Underdogs vs Trappers(5)
The Trappers keep proving they belong in the D. As the Trappers got on the board to tie the game back right after the Underdogs took the lead. There was no turning around as S. Richer notched his second goal to put his club up. The Underdogs tried a late comeback but it was to late as M. Gratton shut down the door the rest of the way to secure the win.
(7) Punishers vs Armadillos(4)
The Armadillosshowed up for the first period getting a comfortable two goal lead. But the Punishers are one team you can never count out, as the team fought back to get the win. J. Fidrilis lead by example scoring the game tying goal and notched his second early in the third. The intense rivalry against these two teams keeps growing as every encounter has his own storyline.
(3) Dragons vs Fat Roy(4)
As both teams played to a dead even tie to end the first period, the game was left wide open for one of the two teams to take control. The power play proved to be a game changer in this one as Fat Roy took advantage of their opportunities to take a comfortable lead midway through the third. The Dragons decided to make the game interesting scoring two late goals with a bit less than a minute and a half remaining. Their valiant effort was cut short as the final buzzer went off.
