P.Samuel scored twice including the winner, and T.Sabourin also tallied a pair as the Trappers double upped the Dragons on Wednesday night. J.Richer must have been thinking shutout not allowing any goals for most of the match. But with only five minutes remaining, the Dragons scored not once but three times to ruin the net miners night. J-M Byron scored two of those goals with the help of B.Daniele, who went on to collect three assists. (1)Fat Roy vs Punishers(8)
Night to forget for Fat Roy, Punishers hold top seed
It was a game that Fat Roy will need to forget quickly. It didn’t take long to see that it wasn’t their night after giving up three first period goals. The second period wasn’t any different as they couldn’t find a way to score while letting in two more tallies making it almost impossible to bounce back. C.Gingras helped the Punishers get there by notching two goals as the only multi goal scorer of the contest. A.Tedone collected three helpers and F.Russo saw his shutout taken away when E.Skafidas scored a late power play goal.
(7)Armadillos vs Punishers(4)
Armadillos light up the scoreboard in 7-4 win over rival
The Armadillos played some high stakes on Wednesday night against a familiar opponent. The Punishers however felt the frustrations of tying the game on four straight occasions unable to ever take the lead. It was only by the ten minute mark of the third period that the Armadillos scored without it being challenged. M.Arkalis snapped the 4-4 tie and the Armadillos never looked back en route to a 7-4 victory. P.Koutsogiannopoulos was the only player to score twice that included a power play marker. Despite playing twice in only three hours, the Punishers put up a real fight against a solid hockey team.
The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Fabio Russo of the Punishers. In the first game of a double header night, the Punishers net minder limited Fat Roy to only one goal that came on the power play.

(8)Armadillos vs Underdogs(2)
Armadillos rout Underdogs 8-2, jump into second place
It didn’t take too long for the Armadillos to up their gear on Monday night. By the time the first period ended, this game looked to be done. The Armadillos rode a 4-1 first period lead before adding three more by the second. P.Koutsogiannopoulos was the only multi goal scorer out of the eight goals that went in. The Underdogs didn’t score much but saw a beauty top corner slap shot by N.El-Feghali mesmerize C.Stavriadis. The loss keeps the Underdogs in that last playoff spot with a five point cushion over last place. With three games left, it’s almost safe to say that they’ll get in barring a collapse.
