United Arms grab huge shootout win to take commanding series lead

J-F Aumais denied three of four shootout attempts, and C.Fragiudakis scored the winner as the United Arms grabbed a big 1-0 series lead over the Hellfish. The United Arms got their scoring done in very short span riffling two power play goals. But that didn’t rattle the Hellfish too much as D.Laurin responded in a big way with his second of the game to even the score. This contest could have only been decided after both teams enjoyed excellent chances only to run into hot goaltenders .B.Verducci had to deal with the pressure of facing highly skilled players such as Y.Derohannessian and C.Fragiudakis after denying two straight shootout attempts.

 (4)United Arms vs Hellfish(0) Game 2

United Arms shutout out Hellfish to take F3 championship in two

The Hellfish picked their worse time of the season to see their attack dry up. The already heated affair continued its intensity resulting in many penalty minutes. With that, came three power play goals for the United Arms. A.Minassian, H.Jerjian and Y.Derohannessian picked apart the Hellfish defence by combining for 11 points and once again J-F Aumais was a huge factor stopping all 32 shots his way. The United Arms didn’t win the regular season for nothing as their prominent overall depth showed throughout the entire post season. G.Missakian made the right choices using his players in the right situations while figuring out perfect line combinations. With this result, the captain guided his club to a deserving feat. On behalf of Hockeyballe.com, congratulations go out to Gabi Missakian and the United Arms for winning the F3 Wednesday championship.

The SalumiVino player of the night goes to Hovig Jerjian of the United Arms. The talented forward participated in all six goals in both games to help lead his club to the finish line.
